Ya, 103 is flip up. For those who doesn't wear spectacles, go for FF in all case.

 no flip ups for me regardless of how cheap or good the brand is :cheeky: :btw: I'm bespectacled.

I wear specs, would a FF helmet pose problems?

I'm more and more convinced that I should get a FF after reading this thread.

No problems with fullface, unless you're a wuss and squats down to pee like Women do, which you most likely aren't and don't.

I hope :cheeky:

:offtopic: I just went out for a night ride with my fullface and wrist length gloves, feels good, would be better if I had a cl2 fairing bike

usually specs dont pose much of a problem wearing full face..

some oakleys like mine frame @ the 2 legs fatter..

either change the inner cushion to slightly thinner..

or if can take the pain.. haha..

new shark flip up.. looks good.. under $400..

looks good though nt psb approved..

Fitment could be uncomfortable depending on your head, spectacles and the helmet that you choose.

You probably won't enjoy the full range of free choices in the market.

Go with what suits your needs + comfort & convenience levels.

I never did find a full face helmet that would fit all my needs (including budget), so I went with a flip-up. But I still prefer an open face for the convenience. Its all up to your personal choice.

I'm just worried that the FF will be difficult to put on and take out. I will just have to go down to the shops to try the FF, or else I'll just get a better flip-up. Because my current one doesnt cover my chin.

Those little pebbles hitting my chins, even the lips, get really irritating.

Got bike must ride!

Try them, they're comfy and hugs your face so nicely :] If you buy a flip up, might as well settle for a psb approved open face :dot:

 your chin is being hit by pebbles because your head is raised too high :p

You mean try the FF? yeah i plan to do that.

Open face is the normal kind where its just a visor covering your face right? That's what I am using now. No no. I wear my helmet properly, and I am looking straight. But the clear visor screen does not cover my chin. It reaches just to my lips area, slightly above.

Any of my good riding buddies wanna buy my SHOEI helmet?

Size is "M" I think.....

This helmet carries very sentimental value to me. It was choosen and hand over to me brought down from the shelve by our fellow biker "Hart" some years back.

Need no reply here. You know where to look for me and tell me how much you have in your wallet and it may be yours :-)

Cheers!

my routine:

open face = wear liner(beanie type), wear helmet;

ff = tk out specs, wear liner(same as abv, or either balaclava), wear ff, wear specs.

otherwise for ff, wear contact lenses. if got $$, go for lasik = no more spec wearing.

flip up would be slightly more convenient for rider who wear specs but of cos fullface is the better option.. open face doesnt provide any protection to your chin..

Your visor should cover your face till your chin, you should take a picture of yourself and we'll see

I also got open ears pattern.

Once the FF helmet in, use finger to slide the ears to open or close eays.

Cheers!

not really sure about the fitting, but it seems alright... mayb coz of my ear? coz its "open" kinda shape...
