Hey there everyone. I'm looking forward to get a GSR 400 by the end of this year.

Any tips on the pricing as a whole currently?

Would be great if anyone could help me with this.

Would be better if there's anyone here who recently bought a GSR for himself/herself and provide with the details of it.

If you don't feel like disclosing yourself here, its alright. Can always send me a private message.

Thank you. :)

In my opinion the best looking 2A bike around. Pricing quite standard latest 2009 model selling new at $14k to $16k depending with ABS or not. Second hand(2-3yr) selling for around $10k but not many in the market.

Was thinking of getting but decided to wait until i get my class 2 before upgrading to my dream ducati 848!

Apr-08 to Feb-10 Aprilia Tuono 125

Feb-10 to May-11 Suzuki GSR 400

May-11 to Oct-11 Ducati 848

Current Triumph Street Triple R....loving it

i recently jus got a GSR 600.. look fantastic for street bike.. the pricing actually was quite cheap as compared to super 4 and resale value also higher.. i spotted a high demand in GSR recently and i'm sure it will become a popular bike in the near future..

Hello TS, just want to share a sales thread with you.

http://www.singaporebikes.com/forums/showthread.php?t=256088

Maybe you might want to consider it when you have decided to acquire one after your researches. I can vouch for the condition as I know the owner and his compulsive maintenance and cleaning of the bike.

Anyone can ride a bike. Being a biker, is a state of mind.

I have heard on this forum that GSR 600 is harder to sell than GSR 400. Is it true?

In general this is due to the fact that once you hit class 2 the entire world opens up to you and the GSR 600 has so many other bikes to compete with. The GSR 400 has far less due to the 400cc engine capacity cap of a 2A license.

It's like a CB1000 is more difficult to sell than a CB400, and a M600 is more difficult to sell than a M400. It's not just limited to the GSR600.

actually can check out at bike pro.. they just sold 2 second hand gsr400 from a short period of 7-9 sept ( from wad i ask and observe).. so i think this bike has a very high resale demand.. i was a bit slow when i tried to get one of those bike on 9/9/09, both bikes were sold..

but one think to note is that the weight is quite heavy and fuel comsumption might not be as gd as s4

hi... how is the maintance like for gsr 400? fuel consum? thinking of selling my cbr400 to get this beauty:angel:

maintenance is roughly the same as ur cbr 400 i guessed..like engine oil, spark plug, oil and air filter change, only the tires will cost u like a class 2 bike because the width of the rear tire is 180.fuel consumption is abt the same as s4..like mine full tank can go 300km hit reserve, also depends on ur riding style...hope the info helps

I have been going around bike shops and they say its not worth to buy GSR 400 cause its a problem bike, hard to balance, and he said no power, super 4 anytime faster even stock.

gsr400 is a good bike. jus that its parts might be costly cause its parallel import. even though most parts can be used from the gsr600, there are just some parts which needs to be shipped from japan. just my 2 cents worth...

I'm a new GSR 400 owner...and i'm loving it...i think it's a great looking bike... well, balancewise, it's good cos of the fat tire...however, due to the fat tire, it's not as flicker-ble as well....but it gives you tonnes of grip so i think it's a good thing...also if you talk about power, both the gsr and s4 have almost similar hp around 51,52...just that honda's main kick comes in at a higher rev range...whereas the gsr's power is more even out...at least that's what i feel...but honestly, how fast do you need the bike to go? low end torque to me is the most important in the city...and the gsr comes with so much new technology such as digi speedo...gear indicator...underseat exhaust looks good...so well...i like the bike a lot...spending a little more...i mean what the heck...it's well worth it...haha!!!well, this helps a little...cheerios
