Exploration ride...

hi everyone.

 

i will be going on an exploration ride to recce some of the less used roads in singapore. i am hoping to do it on one of the weekdays this week (1-4 Sep). to be confirmed. this next ride will be to the following places (exact route to be confirmed later). let me know if you are interested to join me.

 

places to explore include lam sam, ama keng, sungei tengah.

 

meet at upper thomson esso petrol station, warm up roads include old upper thomson road and neo tiew area roads.

Nice & interesting place to explore there! I've done that on my scooter alone during my offday. Some nice attractions to visit along your ride there: Sungei Buroh Nature Park, Qian Yu Fish Farm, Hay Dairies Goat Farm, ect...

i ride a tw200 but any bike will work since its tarmac. i think at the end of ama keng may be some tracks...but will see what bikes are going and will decide then if will venture into those areas.

Those roads mentioned sound like where the spooky places are. So when are you all going?

As usual, we will modify as we progress depending on the situation. We will start and end at a petrol station because we will definitely need a fill up!

Another successful trip concluded.

 

Cool night, lucky I got my thicker textile jacket. A pity some of the ulu roads were restricted access, wonder how dark it can get and what's in there...

 

Nice to know another 2 more riders, Wing1499 and link. Met some notti dogs and have to evade them when they ran at the bike. Worry more about hitting and hurting them than myself falling down.

 

Roughly 90km in total. Good indication to change my tires, was sliding when the road gets a little wet and muddy. Super cool weather, too bad I don't have my Nolan with me, as it was wet after riding through the morning's torrential rain.
