NOV 2009 PRIVATE TRACKDAY @ SEPANG

• Friday, 20th Nov ’09, 1600 – 1900 hrs (3 hours)

• Saturday, 21st Nov ’09, 0900 – 1200 hrs (3 hours)

LIMITED PLACES @ SGD $140 FOR BOTH SESSIONS (FULL TRACK) – drinks included

• NO REFUND IN CASE OF WET WEATHER

• ACCOMODATION @ KLIA CONCORDE INN CAN BE ARRANGED, APPROX COST IS RM 210 PER NIGHT WITH BREAKFAST – PARTICIPANTS PAY DIRECT TO THE HOTEL

• CONFIRMATION OF PARTICIPATION IS BY CASH COLLECTION ONLY, PM “SCOBBY51” WITH YOUR NAME, MOBILE NUMBER, ACCOMODATION REQUIRED AND EMAIL ADDRESS

This is a non-profit trackday for like- minded riders with a concern for safety. Booking of the track is done immediately after confirmation and as such, refunds will not be possible after payment.

A marshal -led convoy will be arranged both ways, safety briefings and 5 lap orientations will be provided.

Newbies are most welcome, and encouraged to attend.

This track day has been organised with both the seasoned trackgoer and the newbie in mind. As frequent trackday junkies, we know how intimidating it can be for non-racers and those who are new to trackdays, to join "Open" trackdays where riders of all calibre mix it it up on the track, with predictable consequences.

Decide quickly if you want to join in this track event as places are going pretty fast.

As always, we try to meet all expectations to ensure you have as safe a trackday as possible.

Except for the weather.

You can refer to our previous post for more info. Participants will get an email if they are included in this session. Thank you

Cheers

Guys,

Please note that the small hike in fees is due to the trackday being extended from 2 to 3 hours per day.

Hi Guys,

For those who have PM me on joining the session, please provide me your details as mention in the 1st post. Some of you guys PM me numbers of riders interested. That would not do any help to me. I wont be able to include you in not knowing your details such as your name, contact number & email add. which is required by us.

Again due to overwhelming response to the session, we have meet our numbers for the session. We will notify those who will be participating thru their email provided by 18th Sep '09. You can still submit me your registration and you be place in the waiting list.

However as mention confirmation is only confirm thru payment, if there any last min cancellation by participants their slots will be given to the waiting list. Thank you

Cheers

What many people dont see is that Scooby has been doing all the groundwork for free for the past 3 sessions.

It's all done in his spare time, which has dwindled signficantly after the birth of his new born son!!!!

This is what you call passion for the sport, not like some people who claim to do it all for love but are lining their pockets at the same time behind closed doors. It's all good to get some back and turn it into a business, but when quality and safety suffers, then there is a problem.

I hope everyone takes a good look at the efforts taken here (and in Tuas, I hear good things happening over there under ERC, will drop by soon to take a look) and pulls up their socks.

Relax lah dude, I only just got that bike, will take a while to get used to it. Was running wide in corners cos I was too lazy to set the front and rear preload properly... God knows if I will solve the problem...

I know who your Doctor is - DOCTOR DOL!!!!!!!

Whahaha.. Thank Harts. Wont be able to go this far if not for you and you know who... Well done... Saying that I'm waiting for my ice-blended from you. Our bikers community need some shake up, cant afford to lose anymore of my friend to so call "freak accident". Everyone of us who are here love to ride but even more gave up riding because not much thoughts have been given to safety. Hopefully on our part we have managed to do that .. for now.

And regards about your bike, dont worry so much if you cant solved that issue there one available soon. I think he doing a Hart on us.. Just like you did to us when you purchase your Rc8.

What many forget (when faced with an upcoming trackday) is that preparing your body for a track day can pay off just as much as preparing your bike properly. With some minor, regular attention to both yourself and your bike before and during the festivities, you can get the maximum satisfaction from a long, hot day at the track:

Hi guys,

Sad to say the registration for this Nov session is closed. For those who have manage to get in, I've send you an e mail regarding on where and when to make payment. For those who don't, your name have been put in the waiting list. If there any cancellation on the early participants, the name in the waiting list will be put in accordingly.

Thank you again for your interest and support in Rev Club Track day. We will plan the next session somewhere in first quarter next year.

Cheers

Hi Mie,

Those who join us at the last session is all re-joining again. We do feel bad that we have to turn some people away. We will try our best the next session which is next year to accomodate more newbies.

I think the next trackday, u should give those who is not from your 2 previous trackday a chance( priority) coz if not, then no point doing this thread. Might as well u just call the previous participants and infdm them afterwhich when there is available slot then u infd us. Rather u infd us in forum but at the end of the day the majority is from the previous trackdays. This is unless u are opening to more slots than last time.

I feel that you shd open to newbies first then u open to the other guys who haf gone to ur trackdays. Then I feel it would be fair. As I could see that many riders are supporting your trackdays...i just hope your are not depriving them and to wait a few months for next trackday sometimes ppl work cant get leave and etc..then these riders might just give up and go to Pasir Gudang. No doubt I am one of the few who miss out on the 2 previous session and I noe a some of the ppl behind this but i still go thru proper way and not by backdoor which is the easier way.

Hope you could see where i am coming from.

Sorry if i am wrong to raise this concern becoz I am very supportive of this movement by Rev Club but it is demoralising when riders didnt managed to get a slot and it is not transparent on who is the first participants to fill up the required slots.

Bro, just my 2 cents wrth of view. Hart sorry ok.

Kosmik,

Newbies are our priority and we review the attendance lists to try and balance the crowd as best we can.

We acknowledge that the majority of the participant are repeats but we always leave room for newbies, although from your comments, it may not be enough.

We assure you and everyone else that share the same sentiments that we try to be as fair as possible.

One of the problems we face is that many people who want to sign up for the session never follow the instructions in the first post, which is to PM Scobby51 with full particulars (full name, contact number, accomodation requirements, NOK...etc) as stated by us.

For example, we cannot accept a request from one person that simply says "me & 3 friends". We need every person to send their own request. Some even relply to the thread saying "count me in"...

The fact that we are doing this in our free time leaves us with no time to follow up on incomplete requests.

Alot of the time, requests get trashed because they do not give any information at all, so we go to the next request that has the information we need.

I urge everyone interested to follow the instructions carefully.

You're not wrong to bring this up and we appreciate it.

We'll try better and will look into alloting more space to newbies based on the feedback.
