I agree with Kosmik's views.

 

We will re-work our approach to ensure a higher number of newbies are enrolled, at future trackdays after the Nov 09 event.

I think the next trackday, u should give those who is not from your 2 previous trackday a chance( priority) coz if not, then no point doing this thread. Might as well u just call the previous participants and infdm them afterwhich when there is available slot then u infd us. Rather u infd us in forum but at the end of the day the majority is from the previous trackdays. This is unless u are opening to more slots than last time.

 

I feel that you shd open to newbies first then u open to the other guys who haf gone to ur trackdays. Then I feel it would be fair. As I could see that many riders are supporting your trackdays...i just hope your are not depriving them and to wait a few months for next trackday sometimes ppl work cant get leave and etc..then these riders might just give up and go to Pasir Gudang. No doubt I am one of the few who miss out on the 2 previous session and I noe a some of the ppl behind this but i still go thru proper way and not by backdoor which is the easier way.

 

Hope you could see where i am coming from.

 

Sorry if i am wrong to raise this concern becoz I am very supportive of this movement by Rev Club but it is demoralising when riders didnt managed to get a slot and it is not transparent on who is the first participants to fill up the required slots.

You are not wrong to bring up this issue. No harm done dude. We welcome any feedback to make Rev Club track session better as time comes. This is our 3rd time doing this and there are still much for us to learn to make a perfect one. As both Hart & Throttlestop mentioned in their post, we will look into it. Infact we have increase the number of riders this time from the previous session.

November track days are as follows:

 

- 15/11/09,

- 22/11/09

- 29/11/09

 

Timing on all 3 days shall be :

Bikes Below 400cc - 0900 -1100 hrs

Bikes above 400cc- 1100 - 1300 hrs.

Cars Open - 1400 -1700 hrs.

 

So those fellas goin for the REV club private session might wanna consider this..

better book ur hotel stay in advance..

Apart from getting ur bike ready for the track day, the best possible way for u to enjoy the wonderful track is to have great fitness.. My advise to u is go for a few session of jogging and lotsa static exercise at home.. Push up n sit up daily will do just fine..

Hi Anili,

 

The 1st 15mins of the session will be a outing for the 1st timer on the track. There will be some riders who are very familiar with the track who is gonna show you around. So rest assure you will get your pointers once you in there. Private lesson you can try Doctor Dol.

doc dol was my guru last time.. but i cannot make it as a rider... so i give up on myself having said that, i still think he's one of more helpful ones out there to ask for tips

Got to thank all the participants for taking the wet Friday weather in their stride. It was really amazing to walk around the pits while it was raining outside and see smiles all around, with not a single rider expressing disdain or displeasure, even though I'm certain that many felt the disappointment inside. Thankfully, our combined hope for fine weather on Saturday bore out.
