I think HJC Flip Up (With Internal Sun Shades) cost around 160-180 in Motoworld, maybe you guys should check it out. Since protection is the main reason why you want a full face, better to stick to a brand that MotoGP/WSBK riders use as well ^^.

Yup yup! HJC IS-Max selling for $180 at motorworld. Saw those helmets on sale at the Kaki Bukit branch 2 weeks ago. Not sure if its still on sale though.

I think the built is quite bad. I have parts of the helmet coming loose. The flip-up mechanism is a plastic part which breaks quite easily. I've replaced the parts on the left hand side earlier this month and now my right hand side is broken, and i bought this helmet around june.

Don't be daft. Vote for change.

I have been wearing this m fizz helmet since jul 2010. I would say this helmet is heavy. The condition of my helmet is really bad. I am having some problem with the sun visor mechanism; I can pull the shades down with the lever but i need to manually push the shades up. something is wrong with the lever mechanism.

The metal rings on the helmet straps is already rusting....omg! I only bought this helmet for less than 1/2 a yr and that part start to rust. In fact I have another M fizz open face helmet and the ring is also rusting..... does anyone has this prob?

I think time to change a new helmet. Any gd recommendation? I prefer flip up helmets, psb approved, light weight, long lasting mechanism(parts wont be loose like m fizz helmet), not noisy.... Budget

Anyone heard of Masei helmets? DOT certified, made in China (but most helmets are also made in China).

Sold through ebay, designs quite decent and price for some FF/FF flip-up helmets are under S$100 even after shipping.

i owned one and feel that it is too heavy to my liking. but well it is a cheap one afterall.

In conclusion, if one has the budget the spend, its better to look for other helmets instead of this m fizz helmet

Correction to my previous post. The right side flipping mechanism is not broken, merely loose. The guy at Regina helped me to tighten it. I guess it'll come loose against quite fast.

gkang, I have the same problem with the sun visor. Doesn't bother me much, though you can see the sun visor peeking out on the top.

Caberg Konda has a psb approved version. What stops me from getting it is the lack of rear vents. The vent on the top is also small and badly designed. The hole does not face the wind directly, but lies within an enclosement (hope u get what i mean). I don't see how useful it can be. The vents on the chin bar cannot be closed.

Don't be daft. Vote for change.

Hai.... Here's my take... I brought 1... use it for 2 trips overseas....and it has since been hanging inside my cabinet...

1. Damn Heavy.

2. Suffering from Neck Sore after 2hrs of straight riding above the speed limit.

3. Cant really shut it under a single hand action.

4. Floats during high speed....

Hai.... Mine is going for $50! Any takers? PM me...

To Me....

Most flip-ups are out of my budget (which is around $240). The closest I can find is the Caberg Konda which I am still not willing to get due to reasons previously stated. I would like to try the Zeus ZS-3000 as well, but the sun-visor model is not available here so again that is out for me. I'll wear out my M-Fizz further until I see another flip-up which I am comfortable with.

Guys, pardon my ignorance as i am now to the forum. Can someone tell me how to get to 'ahboy' and 'regina'? Thanks.

These shops r located at kelantan lane.... The traffic around there is heavy, so take caution if u were to ride there...

- If u gg there by CTE, exit at exit 7D to JLN KEBUN LIMAU.

- Then turn left (u can only turn left) to Balestier Rd. U will pass by a cross Junction, Proceed straight to Lavender Rd.

- This is where it gets tricky for 1st timers. The next junction u encounter is a Y- Junction.

- Turn right to JLN Besar @ the Y-Junction.

- At JLN Besar, keep to left lane and look out for Kelantan lane and turn left into kelantan lane and look for a parking lot.

For ur infom JLN Besar is a ONE WAY STREET.

U can see Regina once u r approaching kelantan lane from Jalan Besar as the shop is located at the Mouth of the junction b/w JLN besar and Kelantan lane. Ah boy is somewhere near the parking lots, opposite of the coffee shop.

Hope this helps.....
