ahhhh yesss... finally someone shared my views.. hahahhaha

I think it refers to the state of the rider, not the state of the ride.

The limit of modding is up to the creativity of the modder.

There's a difference between modding and upgrading of bike parts.. If u for example bore out the baffles in your exhaust,it's modification.. If u swap it w an after market exhaust,it's an upgrade..

Edit. Forgot to add fabrication into the mix..

hmmm.. i dun think i agree to this statement bro. haha. fully modded means u cant mod anymore.. no matter who u pass the bike on to.. they cant mod it anymore as well. that would be in my opinion - fully modded. so in a sense.. this state is non existent.. cos u can still change stuffs on the bike even if i pass one of mine to u.

so modding is both limited and unlimited .. ppl start off as accessorising and sadly alot only end there as they limit themselves to what they think is happening.. that they have no knowledge to do this or that..

but... the few that move up the rung, they gain confidence and knowledge when they SEARCH for answers and try it out with the fear of failure .. failure as in failing to get it to work, failing to get it to fit.. but u will overcome that and find solutions to it ..in this stage.. u progressed to modifications...

then among these few.. comes those monkeys who hunger for more...when u cross the border of modification.. u step into the state of fabrication... and at this stage.. u possess an extreme fear of failure so much that u spend endless time doing research on what u wanna make so that they dun fail u... fear of structural failure is one of them... lol

ahhhhhhh... i'm brain dead .. been thinking and thinking about some stuffs for the past few days..... thats why i'm churning out such nonsense.. wahahhahahahhaha...

lastly.. dun mod la.. very troublesome.. *

*but if in your heart you are telling me to "F off" for that last sentence... give yourself a pat on the back.. hahahhahaha

Ohhhhh boy... you are such a hypocrite. Hahahaha  But nevertheless, it is true that modding of your OWN bike turns it to NO VALUE to be precise. Yes it is of good value to you and precious. BUT in actual fact, a fully STOCK bike is MORE worth the value IMO.

Like for example, when ppl sell bike they take into consideration of the mods and $ spend and add on to the price of the bike. Some ppl might appreciate it. Some will just say i dun need all this mod i just need a stock bike and do my own mod. In such cases your precise bike turns no value to the other party who are also looking for own modification. Thus modifications become own customising which is PERSONAL....

But its really unique when ppl starts to recognize your work. Like West Coast Custom and American Chopper and many other custom fabricator in foreign country.

Well im blabbering now let just share those that we see on net that are ridiculously SLURRPY shall we. :D

Bernardk

It's no problem, because we have different understandings.

Previous sportster, it's definitely "Fully Modded" because it is just nice and I have nothing else to mod. But when I sold it, the new owner has his own mods to make. So that's why I let it be a state of the individual.
