for everyone. i went to get more cones from daiso at plaza singapura. unfortunately they do not have any. so currently i only have the 54 cones. we may have to do 1-2 circuits at a time if we have insufficient cones. just fyi

 

bro scubasimon... i have some small cones... around 6-10 dunnoe enough anot for u anot... blue and red in color... if u are interested call me 91800317...

Hello. Its been awhile since I posted a ride on this forum. My bike is back with me now and its time to have fun! So here goes.

 

Date: 24 October 2009 (Saturday)

Time: 6am

Meet: Esso@553 Upper Thomson Road

 

We will meet at the usual place. Since we need to setup the course with around 100 traffic cones, I will need your help to carry some cones each to make this work. I'll figure out a way to help you secure the cones when we are at the meet up place.

 

We will have a nice ride (no expressways) and head towards the Gymkhana site and setup the course and enjoy some circuit fun. You might want to consider removing your side boxes for this one as they can prove to be a handful in the circuit.

ya, having the road to ourselves and after an fulfiling trip, it's still damn early! Still lots of time to do your stuffs for the rest of the day. It's just the climbing out of bed part that's scary.

Simon, where are we heading to to set up the gymkhana course? i wanna know the mileage so i can estimate how much i need to top up before we leave esso tmr morning. the main reason is i wanna fill up my tank as much as possible with shell 98 @$1/litre, the promotion is on tmr from 10am - 6pm islandwide. must make the best use of this promotion. money don't come easy these days.

Aww, why not, it's definitely a refreshing adventure for me .. Although I may not be going in hard since I'm changing my tires today, need to wait for the mold release agent to wear off.

@nabil15: we will probably get to start around 7:15-7:30am giving time to pack, travel and setup. will end in an hour or two depending on when you folks get enough. then head back.

many many thumbs up for this morning's gymkhana course! :thumb: the first few attempts, i knocked down a few cones but as i continue to ride through the course, i gained confidence and going through the gymkhana became more and more fun Simon, thanks for the effort in lugging those many cones back and fro and setting the course up. it was really really fun. we must have another soon.

 

 

it was fun just riding around just to burn fuel off our tanks so we can make the best use of the shell $1/litre petrol promo. but the wait is seriously crazy...

 

 

i think they could have dedicated one pump just for motorcycles so that we bikers do not need to queque and wait behind those cars which take so much longer to be filled up.
