wat i can recall from my last BKK trip..

if u wana go chatuchak or jatuchak market, go recce on saturday late noon.

take note of the EXACT location.

got block number, lane num, and finally shop unit number.

sunday all shops open but more people.

i usually come early2. shop till lunch time, den i go back.

if u wana buy kapchai bike accessory, stop at Saphan-kwai station.

alot of shops by the road side. closed 6pm local time. sun close.

majority taxi dun use meter.. unless...

its those 'government' company.

if im not wrong, those taxi green/yellow colour use meter.

the rest, those blue, pink taxis all use 'market price'.

use ur skills to bargain. hehe

after 10pm or so, the taxi price will increase.

DO NOT GO for those pink lady or watever shows..

alot of private drivers or taxi drivers will offer to send u for free!

den u go there already, they keep ur camera la. pay cover charge.

best part, its usually located in some ulu parts.

the few taxi touts waiting outside will charge ridiculous rates.

actually got lots of info found online.

go google it, and save urself from being conned while @ BKK.

ya, drink lots of water. its very hot there.

Forensic Museum

If you're into all things gruesome, this is for you. Preserved corpses of convicted killers, like Thailand's most famous mass murderer See-Uey, the Chinese cannibal, are exhibited alongside murder weapons, a gut-wrenching exhibition of autopsy photos and glass jars containing stillborn children pickled in formaldehyde. It's close to the museums of parasitology, medical history, and anthropology. The Museum of Anatomy next door, housed in an old 1930's building, contains a close-up and personal look at the human body. Often visited by medical students, it will prove fascinating for lovers of the macabre, horrifying for the rest.

Open: 09:00 - 16:00 (Monday - Friday)

Where: 2nd floor, Adulaydejvigrom Building, Siriraj Hospital, 2 Phrannok Road

Admission: 40 baht

Contact: +66 (0)2 419 7000

better dun risk taking any photos.. you might not know what you will capture within your lenses..

for nice foods in Thailand i got so many places to share.. but quite a lot not in Bangkok..

here's some in BKK..

Roast Pork Rice 烧肉饭 - Soi Lang Num (near Victory Monument)

Pig's intestines 猪杂汤 - same stall. Nice soup base and clean ingredients..

Roast pork is very crispy but not hard until you cant chew..

if walk from Victory Monument the stall will be after a drive-in motel(left) on your right..

it's a shop.. not road side stall..

Fish Maw Soup - Stall near staircase from the bridge of Victory Monument..

if you love seafood.. i suggest go to their supermarkets..

why?? cheap and good and they even cook for you..

normally i will buy at eat at my place or bring it to a park as pinic with my wife..

seafoods like prawns, crabs and fish can be grilled, steamed or fried.. they even give you chilli sauce..

fish will be selling like max 40baht compared to restuarant rates at 200baht..

prawns and crabs will be definately cheaper too..

Grill in Thai is "Yang" chinese sound 4..

Steam in Thai is "Nueng" sound 4 also..

Fried is "Tot" sound 4 also..

Save money and enjoy!!!
