Had a chance of yrying it out, Not a good idea cause cant use centre stand, and quite shaky also. Sparkers dont do it.

Hi Sparkiz, what is automatic double clutch? is it no need to change gear like a CVT (constant variable transmission - automatic gear)? Or still need to change gear one?

yesterday officially collect the bike

 

biggest syok !!!!!!!!!

 

1. EXHAUST IS BLACK NOT CHROME

2. NO ON/OFF HEAD LIGHT SWITCH

 

Hong leong said this are new batch from Siam. No more chrome exhaust pipe...all changed to ugly black and headlight switch was removed.

 

I immediately changed the black oil to castrol 15w-40 which has david bechams face on it. $12

 

Then castrol spray chain lube on the chain

 

Tyre pump 30psi (2x)

 

Checked battery water. The shopkeeper said it's dry cell battery. BUT it was liquid type. Dem.

Checked battery water was full.

 

Removed the front basket like Siamese style. Hong Leong fixed for me but I removed it. Going to use the basket in my house to keep stuffs in storeroom.

 

Wanted to change the plug to NGK 7hsa but thought of changing to splitfire at 500km service.

 

Collect free silver helmet with helmet bag.

 

Checked No.plates and engine/chasis number.

 

Checked IU unit. Was fixed a brand new by hong leong on top of the handle.

 

17 dec 2004 After 3pm ...engaged 1st gear, moved to Shell.

Pumped in V-power (blue) for $6

 

Then went for lunch.

 

I realize

 

1. the handle is misalligned by 10 degree. Senget to the left a bit.

2. The IU on top of handle is blocking my hand movements ....must put other place.

 

Did break-in process. Rode 76km the whole day with 80km/h constant and 85km/h - 90km/h once in a while.

 

Will service at 500km.

 

Now going to fix givi monokey box and front basket.

Hey did you suppose to get free svc at HL, DID you? and at BOOLKLET from HL, If not may be its a paralle imported one. I guess!!!!!

I got the wearranty card

and free service from HL

 

That's right

bike from HL

not Parallel import

 

The warranty 20,000km or 2 years for engine only

i simply changed the black oil since i don't want to use factory oil

already driving 90km/h average on expressway.

Next week bringing to JB for refurbishment and givi monokey box.

 

Will service at 500km.

 

The bike problem now is with handle. At Neutral it will shake/vibrate.

No starting problem and no misfire.

flower disc not dat powerful...

 

easily get rusted... especially.. after rain ....

 

better get oversize disc...( need 2 customized bracket)

CANNOT START

push down hill and put 1st gear

also CANNOT START

then checked plug

OK

 

but still cannot start

mileage only 838km

 

called ban hock hin roaming mobile

they come tomorrow 9am

 

in the phone they say that stupid air sucktion mikuni 17.1 carburator always give problem

 

let me tell u tomorrow night

hi thks for the reply...i send to hong leong to repair...under warranty...send in twice den the problem solved...hopefully...dey oso say ix the carb problem...some kind of residue left behind when it juz manufactured....clean the carb so nw ix ok...

sori...wasnt online to reply ur queries....anyway if u hvn send in...juz bring the warranty card find the malay lady at the service office..tell her the problem...she will handle the rest bt still u need to tell the mech incase dey dt understand the problem...try nt to let the indian fella do ur bike..he sucks....dunno how dey do it...coz dey dun allowed u to go in n watch...can oni c frm outside the workshop...as for sparkplug i nv ask...i changed mine to size 7 ngk myself...

2:30pm sent bike to HL

 

old man repaired the bike

 

told him all the symptoms

 

I bought NGK G Power CR7HGP from ah boy $5

gave to old man to fix it.

 

he later changed oil and repaired and tune setting carburator tuning

 

that's all

he said there is a meter to use for tuning carburator.
