Bro have you checked your ignition coils(check temperature of headers once bike is warmed up,they should be about the same/no current leakage), serious kinks in fuel hose(restrict fuel delivery to the engine), water in gas tank,spark plugs, groundings,air intake?

yep.. but the mech say smth wrong with my clutch.. changing the whole clutch system... hopes that works after that... =/

haha.. no la... but major ones like hkl and racewerks and some more others tried already.. but prob still dere lei.. hopefully after changing my clutch, everything wld be solved.. =/

hello fellow R1 riders. need some help over here. i just took out my r1 2008 recently and i am facing this problem whereby my engine suddenly just shuts off when i clutch in to shift to lower gear. went back to bikeshop and they said its the batt problem. got that changed but still facing the same prob. any idea what is the cause of it?

Read up on previous post for more info...

Simply go back to the shop u bought the bike from and ask for a Throttle Body wash.... Providing there is a warranty period between u and the shop... If not I recommend bikeworkz Ah Beng to do the washing for u at $80/-...

Common prob with 07/08 model....

actually no lei... axle push lever, crankcase cover, clutch gasket, clutch housing bearing x2...

 

clutch plates no prob..

 

i think clutches got grudge with me from my previous life... both bike i ride both gt cluych prob... just that this one more jia lat.. lol

Yes... But should not happen often for at least a year (depending on yr mileage) ...

It's just like a gentle servicing once in a while....

Hey bro...i used to have this prob....i went down to bikeworkz...washed the throttle bodies and had the same thing again...would advice you to try asking them to adjust your TPS(Throttle Position Sensor) first. After Bikeworkz adjusted my TPS it totally eliminated my stalling prob..This TPS issue happens to most bikes if it is out of specific range...even my fren's busa does it...juz my 2cents of thoughts ...cheerZ

hmm.for me ,i'll advise u get 1000cc.maintenance same.insurance same.the diff is only roadtax.but horsepower really diff....

if u plan upgrade next 2yrs,try get it from online bikemart.think can get it less than 10k.

and u come to wrong channel , u should try R125 group.-_-"
