as i seriously need to plan properly.

cause im oni 20, schooling still. oni working on a part time job to survive.

yeah, mani will tink tat i shld not get 1.

but to me, its worth me working so hard for it den stretch my hands out and ask for money from my parent.

guess it all about the passion.

wanna slowly source for a gd bike that interest me den rushing into buying which make me regret.

as i planning to ride till i ORD.

where can i change the shinko battery?

could it be the rectify or coil? if its rectify or coil can my bike still start?

 

Battery > Rectifier > Coil

 

It sounds like your battery is dying.

 

You can try replacing with Shinko battery for around $70.

 

Works better for me than the $170 Yuasa ones.

Hi everyone, anyone riding a 06 model? recently my bike got some prob and i need you guys expertise in this. sometimes i cannot start my bike and when i hit on the start button the right side of my tail got this tatatata sound and my bike keeps "restarting" .im able to start with push start but must be of certain speed. anyone experience this problem before?isit something to do with my batteries? please advise.thank you. roughly how much damage would it cost me to repair this problem?.

sleepoo.. i had a similar experience on my r6.. the "TAH" sound shld be comin from ur starter relay.. y dun u open ur seat n check.. any error code when u hold down the starter button ?

I get a 2A bike DURING army already quite tough , unless u have saving or got parents support u , if not any parts or thing spoilt = ur few months pay or wat le .

Happen to me yesterday also... 6 months old bike.. 2 weeks nvr warm up/ride due to my trip forgot to d/c the battery also battery went dead.. Went to Lim Ah Boy jus now coz sunday

 

Shinko YTZ10S - $55

 

Yuasa YTZ10S Taiwan - $75

 

Yuasa YTZ10S Japan - $120

 

*all prices before bargain.. got the japan one tested on the spot for voltage at 12.8V.. old batt 11V.. all the above batteries are precharged sealed battery meaning jus fix to ur bike n done.. But must make sure u test ur new battery on the spot and voltage must not be below 12.4V then it requires precharging again..

 

error code? hmmm wher am i suppose to look out for the error code? sorry man, seldom open up my seat, normally bike shop people does it for me.

anyway i just change my battery to a yuasa, cost $150 man.actually wanted change to a bigger size i tink 12w or something like that but too big cannot fit in the end change the smaller one which cost more and its only 10w i tink...

Wow the 09 bike uses such low capacity battery!

 

Your old batt may be salvagable... just get a charger to charge it back.

means that sometimes while riding, the bike's engine will automatically cut off due to the TPS issues

There is no design change for the 2010 model. Just color scheme change.
