Bro redir,

just my 1cent. I own a 2b bike which I think may suit your needs: Aprilia Atlantic 200. For better pickup etc, can mod at shop 2G or 3G clutch or whatever. Storage plenty. Stable and easy to maintain. Should be under $4k for used FBA/FBB.

Previously rode a Vara 125. That one also good. For tall person I guess better choice over the Atlantic 200. Very stable and comfy, not ex to maintain (normal service etc). Bullet-proof V-twin engine. Top-speed is 125kph though. FW/FZ around $3.5-5k depend on accessories.

If you rally want 2A, do consider the Honda TransAlp 400cc dual-sport bike. Its as good as the Vara 125 but with bigger engine. Can check with SBF forumer "Rudinko" for more info or check their transAlp thread.

All the best! :thumb:

PS: The above are my personal view and nobody has to agree/disagree with me. At the end of the day everybody's own bike is still the best bike in the world and you should only buy the bike you like and maintain it accordingly.

Yes, anything above 600cc certainly puts a smile on your face but in terms of practicality locally a small bike is better for the job and easier on the wallet. Yet to factor insurance, maintenance and also responsibility on the roads when riding a bigger bike.

Your mind can sometimes go wild on a bigger bike in local roads. It's safer to ride a bigger bike outside Singapore where the roads are perfect for fast machines.

i agree, big bike is nice, just like the malay uncle at my flat, buy harley but always just park at the carpark. everyday I see the bike also envy. he ride RXZ and just use the harley on weekends. I think he really passion, but the road tax and insurance really besar. plus I think maybe he everyday cannot sleep because some nights I see him go downstairs just to stare at his bike. macam like perform guard duty.

i think he scare people take key and scratch.

Always ride safely and defensively.

Repair bike cheap and fast,

Repair body expensive and slow.
