Yeah, my 020 is super slippery on the road when it rains.. i cannot stand it anymore and went to HKL to change to 014 today. Costs me $320. and its old stock 03 manufactured one but they dun have my size anymore for any other brands...

so i ended up settling for this.. I hope its not too bad. Grip during rain can liao.

020 is supposed to be the grippier tyre in the wet, designed for longer mileage and larger/deeperwater ventilation grooves.

imo 014 good enough for my style of riding and in wet condition. 014 can last abt 20'000km but take note after 15'000km it wil start to loss some of it effectiveness or grip. Being using 020 stock and it cannot make it in the wet. but 020 is super lasting cos mileage clock abt 30'000km.

bro, how u manage to mk ur tyres life span longer..? wat's e pressure u usually pump for normal road riding..? 36 f 42 r..?

Recently I saw some new spec3 using Dunlop SportmaxII D204. Any review on it?

Anyway, apart from GPR70, does any bikeshop here selling

  • D207
  • D220 ST
  • D205

Here a link to it Dunlop UK

I believe da D205 & D220 are design for sport touring n the latter is the newest model. If not available here, I gez BT020 is my 2nd option. TIA!

me me... i've changed to BT-010 since last year aug or oct... until now.. den it begins to show signs for wearing out... tis is a good tyre its a good compromise btw grip n milage.. but i have to agreed it may nt be the best track tyre.. but its definately a good everyday tyre.. where u can find fun n distance wif it :cheer:

Hi....bobo

I thought BT-010 is design for 600cc and above

Cos 600 is using 180 for rear n 120 for front........

Tat y is not suitable for 400cc bikes.......

400cc is using 160 rear n 120 front.......

Am still thinking which to change........BT-010 or MEZ Z1....

Now currently using MEZ Z1.....quite hyappy wif it......

any comment ???

Cheers............ :cheer:

:thumb:I used to ride V-tec spec1 on bt010, they're great tire and it take some time to wear specially front, but quite fast on rear then make replacement to MEZ1, well this is the superb tire to compare with the rest, so mine recommendation is to blend this both brand on F & R tire. The F bt010 give great traction and also lean as wanted, for R it's just grip while pushing and that is my point of experince with "whoop ass machine" as i name my bike. Just for info south beuna vista as people called 99 corner is where push my bike in 2002 before i met an accident there on my 954rr(trying to understang the capable of the 954rr in 99 corner). Total 7 accnt with V-tech.:faint:

I just got my Pilot Powers and I love em!

They are so smooth to flick from side to side...

You can go so low and still feel the power...

Love em to bits!

From then to now...

personally bridgestone tires has tis problem of tire warp despite proper care of the air pressure. But for i would recommend 014 or 090 if u insist on bridgestone. but still prefer michelin and metzler tires.

my stock tires was dunlop sportmax, grip was fantastic even in mscp when floors were wet & slippery after rain. But it lasted me only 20,000 km. After that I changed to M3, then I almost had a skid accident in a mscp. Makes me very worried each time I enters a mscp after heavy rain. :giddy:

2005 model BT replacing? BT014 is BT015....now at 8600km on my busa after much abuse in NorthWest Thailand Trip 2006. To my surprise, these tyres are performing very good being the cheapest in Malaysia.

BT020 lasted 12000km on me but then I ride a busa :)
