Maybe they're slapping honda in the face. Honda was the most pro-800cc company. Why? Because

 

1) Dani Pedrosa is small sized

2) Take one cylinder off the V5 and you have ... 800cc V4, exact same cylinder design, noneed to spend money developing.

End of the day, Ducati was still faster than Honda, right? Just takes a certain type of rider to fully utilise the capabilities.

 

All the other Ducati satellite team riders cannot even come close to Casey Stoner's performance too.

Actually, i believe the Dukes, Hondas, Yammies and the Suzukis made great Motogp bikes. It's just a matter of fact due to the Riders and team mechs... Everyone plays a big part! And when suspensions, tyres and rider are in the right conditions, u will see them fly... Sometimes u see Rossi tearing up the gap, sometimes it's Stoner, and sometimes it's Pedrosa! However, i must admit that the Kawas are lagging behind, due to fiancial and technical support this year.

duke is very hard to handle at the corners... no, make it CANNOT turn corners.

suzu got no top speed.

honda got great handling but extreme poor deliverence of mid-torque

yammie got great handling plus good deliverence of mid-torque
