Greetings from Langkawi..here for a biz trip.

 

Just noted that the Malaysian Fire Service fast response bikes are ST1300..apparently they mount a water pump on the back of the bike and the hoses at the side boxes! Way cool!

 

Just thinking that the rider has to contend with the weight of the bike as well as the water pump....and it definitely not light.

Difficult to find in Singapore, if you are looking for the original backrest. But could be ordered from overseas.

Just as I expected. Good things do not come easy. Anyway, I've just booked a '09 STX which will be coming in latest by March 2010. Apparently, Boon Siew does not have the color I want, Candy Red (as described at the official Honda website), yet.

 

Here's hoping that they would be able to bring it in next month. Keeping my fingers crossed!

HaHaha.... Yo!!! Bro. going for a STX ya... i've swap my Falcon for a 06 STX abt coming to 2 mths.... if u like relax n friendly handling... esp. 2ups... u'll love it..

 

of coz u'll miss the power of the busa... hee... but i am loving it... the relax riding esp.. n long distant trip... :thumb:

hi guys , for those riding stx1300 do u feel the throttle response too precise as in a sudden move accidentally on ur right hand will cause surges? I recently did install G2 throttle tamer ordered online and it makes the stx so much smoother at low speed. ST-forums have great write-ups abt it :)

Anybody has a workshopt to recommend? New ST11 rider here. Sent mine last few weeks to g0p4 from amk pt but thinks that he takes too long and not careful enuf of the bike parts that he dismantle..

Hi, Uncle Stan! Haha! Didn't know you got an STX too! Those are precisely the reasons I'm getting this ride. Wanted to get a Goldwing but after consulting the Mrs and friends, decided to get the "younger brother" instead. Goldwing will have to wait. Hee hee hee!!

 

Yeah, will definitely miss my Busa. Cherishing every ride I have with it now until the day when I swap my rides. Good ol' Busa! We shall ride some time, Uncle Stan! Consider it a plan!!
