Windows Vista is simply amazing!! The features are very good and the graphics quite nice... If i have the money i will sure upgrade to vista.. probably need a 1gb ram to run vista...if not it will be lagging..

i'm sure it requires a lot of hardisk space but not too sure how much...

Nope it doesn't use that much space... space is not much of a concern anyway since harddisk prices are dirt cheap and capacities above 120GB are the norm now.

i believe it saves hassles if u buy systems already pre-installed with vista, probably few mths more from now. i shall nt dwell too much into the details.

 

on the other hand, the upgrades may be free but u r still liable to pay for shipping charges. interestingly, i dun find the charges justified since the vistas r already in ur shores.

harddisk storage is dirt cheap now ... nt a cause for worry dude.... vista is great but many says it is just trying to emulate the mac environment .. haizzz ... as wat other bros are saying .. better to wait and buy preinstalled systems ... u dunno wat bugs there are in vista ... unless u r a geek ... u can install and try out vista and let us know ur review...

i will be doing a testing on Vista ultimate once i get my hands on the disk...

 

Aero version, dun get it...u dun get the full functions of Vista...whereas Ultimate has all the full functions

Official launch date is 30th Jan. Anyway I was a beta tester for Vista some time back... honestly I don't see a point of upgrading to Vista if you are fine with using XP.

But i think it quite powerful for certain coms,it lags computers and sucks battery life of slightly low and slower processor,read it frm online.....

the side bar function and the entire UI is a ripoff from OSX. even the sales promoter agrees.

 

moreover, your old games and software might not work with the new vista.

 

might wanna give it sometime IF you want to try for it to stablize first
