Technically when it's started, the bike own coil/rect would be providing the charge already..That's if both the item is working ok.

yeap for car jus switch the batt on , car no need crank

 

then bike jus try to crank start . once on , at least can head to work shop no need to tow

Rect/Coil/Batt seems like a more common package...

 

If got voltmeter, should beable to detect early de mahx..Like that time my coil+rect giving issue..

But u know horx, 06 R1 mounting for their rect in a very solid location..Right in the place whereby the air from both the ram air duct meets before heading into the air box...

sure flat de. wat r the chances of riding more than an hour to provide longer charging. he uses more cranking amps than recharging the battery.
