So other than remus pipe tat can be used on tdm tat i know of, wat other brands tat can be fitted legally on a tdm?

 

How much and where to get? Other than motoworld...

I had check a few brands,sad to say,Laser Duo Tech is not approved by LTA,in other countries yes,not here.Only 2 TDMs in singapore got fix them.

 

GPR will cost ard $1400 for the highmount carbon firbre or titanium from excel

 

LeoVince will be the cheapest for us now.

G-max offer 900plus for alu end cans,carbon and titanium will cost 1200plus.

HKL offer 850 for the alu end cans.

Sporting offer the best 796 for the alu end cans.

Do take note for LVs the Delivery will be 2 mths at least.

 

Hopes this help.Call me if you want to get,maybe we can go together....

Of course two end cans lah.I buy just one for what ah?

 

We can just go down to order anytime.Just a deposit of 50-100,then u and me can start saving as the wait will be 2 mths.

hahaha... i thought u was quoted by the shop for 1 pipe only..

$796 for a pair quite cheap eh...

From the pics, the Leo vince pipes are long n high.. can my H&B boxes still fit after install them..

There are so many brands of legally modified pipes in the market now.

Is there any different in terms of power, speed or etc for all brands? Or is it jus the outlook of the pipes?

 

Dun compare with stock and legally modified pipes.. of course they are diff....

Price, outlook, sound & weight. Performance wise i dont think theres much of a different because most of the aftermarket pipes claimed to unleash an extra 3-4 bhp. Unless of course u're willing to spent more money on a PC to fully utilise the true potential of the after market pipes. But be warned, more power = more fuel consumption & a bigger hole in ur pocket Just my 2cents. Some may have other opinions on aftermarket pipes.

Noticed something unusual after I have replace my brake fluid and clean the caliper piston. My TDM's front brake lever comes to a hard stop against the throttle housing. Is this normal? Should I adjust the throttle housing angle higher?

 

My tdm comes with renthal wide bars and I suspect this might be the reason for the low angle of the throttle housing causing the lever to hit hard stop with throttle housing. Do no wish to adjust the angle of the brake lever assembly as the angle is very comfortable for me at the moment.

 

Just like to check with TDM riders if you have the same issue with stock bars.

You mean to say that before you top up the brake fluid, all is working fine?

I guess there's air in the fluid system. Bleed the system for a long time trying to get the air out but to no avail.
