hmmm a 4 stroke 125cc i doubt can reach 190km/h bah.. its kinda impossible.. if really it runs 190km/h i think plus the looks of it.. no one would buy the RS125 already.

How often do you have to change the engine oil, spark plug, etc ? What would the estimation price cost for that ?

I was really surprise when the salesman said than it gotten be ridden above 130km/h if not it'll be spoilt. I told him how can Singapore allow such a bike when the speed legal is lower than it. Mah motors is realiable ?? How often he send for tuning & engine overhaul ?? I doubt i'll upgrade to Class 2A bike. Yeha, heard the parts is really expensive. Estimation, not necessary to change the parts for at least 18-24 months, right ? The price is nuts for a 2B. I agree. Honestly, I dislike KR though can get first hand. SP is nice . They are Japanese made. I'll for sure choose YZF-R125 than KR. I'm eyeing for the YZF-R125 & RS125. SP last production if I ain't wrong, it's on 2002. So it's like how many hands . Hehe.

Brother its really too soon to say that u wun upgrade to class 2A. From your posts i can tell u will yearn for greater power and bigger bikes.. And yes the price is crazy for a 2b bikes and i'm telling u there are alot of bad issues regarding Mah motor services. I have no idea what he said is true anot ride below 100 engine spoil faster???? I basically doubt wat he said and if its true then it is much not worth it to buy it. As for me i bought a brand new CBR125r a very mini mini R6 look half a yr ago thinking that i wun upgrade to 2A or 2 but after riding for few mths i actually yearn for more power and i'm actually dying to upgrade ASAP. RS125 drink petrol like water and u have to top up petrol quite oftenly and don't forget about 2T oils , engine oils etc etc let say u fall down *touch wood la* The damaged parts which u have to replace are very costly.. Yes this bike is fast pick up is crazy like **** for class 2B but still money issue wise i wun go for it because i think its better to save e 14000 and upgrade to probably a R6 my dream bike when i got my class 2 hahah...

a very bad ass 2b bike. think the expensive maintenance part is because u cant get 'chiong' parts if u need to repair, u have to get the original and it may be very costly. and if what he say is true, u ride below 100km/hr, spoil faster, i dont think its worth it. then u can only play on expressway. cause normal road, sometimes hard to maintain at 100. i think u should save the 14k and maybe buy a 1st hand super4 when u get a class 2a license.

pros:

1. fast

2. good looking

cons:

1. expensive spare parts

2. maybe fc worser than a sp or tzm.

think thats about all. oya, btw, i voted for not worth it. :D

Yeah, lots of people say that the parts are pretty costly & gotta wait for awhile to arrive. I find what every he said is bs. It doesn't make sense. Class 2A bike, save up for tht. Not sure.

The looks is really good comparing it with other 2B bikes. Saw your vote :p

Hey, well I agree that it's abit too soon to say that I won't get a 2A bike. Well, got to wait a year and about 6months to get a Class2A license after having a Class2B license. You judged me right, I love more power & bigger bikes. It's really true. Hehe. The RS125 is really expensive comparing it to other 2B bikes unless it's gonna be used for few years. I'm never gonna go to Mah Motors at all for anything. Exactly, if whatever he said is true, than it's useless to get the bike. What's the petrol consumption for RS125 ? 2T oils and engine oil are how much ? Yeah, lots of people say the parts is costly & take quite awhile to get it. Speed wise, RS125 is top comparing to other 2B bikes. R6 looks cool. Btw, how is YZF-R125 ?

Why don't you ask an Aprillian Rider who has ridden it for many years? He'll tell you just the opposite...

Fuel consumption and price of maintenance really depends on the rider.... monthly servicing is just as much as KRR or SP.. parts, you can get it if you have your connections right.. i know someone who mass order parts and share the shipping cost to save $...

I havent ride it but i have mixed with Aprilian riders... I dun see them complaining about how expensive it is to maintain their babies... It truly depends on how you see it... You want good looking baby, then be willing to spend on it.. If not, then settle for an ugly baby which needs lesser $...

Just my 2 cents.

yup i have this friend who ride rs125 in e past.. and he told me basically this bike maint is almost like any other 2T bikes ( engine oil spark plug etc etc) and yes the engine is meant for performance but i have doubt in what that saleman in mah motor told u about the bike giving prob if ride below100.. for my frends case he rode it over 130 quite oftenly and the engine started to give prob here n there...he complained of frequent tuning and engine overhaul which cost few hundreds. What i think is buy a 2nd hand rs125 ride it for a yr and upgrade to 2A bike after that :) and oh ya pls take care of this bike becos the parts are EXPENSIVE...top speed 190pluskm/hr with mod 200? haha but ride safe bro btw 14000 on e road is realli crazy...what i think is go for KR or SP much cheaper but performance is there too..

e meter show 190 but e actual speed would be ard 150-160 . if u buying 1st hand just make sure u maintain it and i believe it would last u 1-2yrs problem free.

To the TS, if u dun have maybe spare $$ 100-200 per month excluding installments, petrol, 2T etc dun choose RS or ur life will be quite miserable.

u might not need to spend tat amt but its an amt u die die must have ready in hand in case of anything spoilt eg valve breaking, clutch plate etc.

KR and Sp are not jap bike , they are thai bikes.

To Danzi, RS125 meter is as accurate as ur RVF, trial tested proven with a RVF SP and RS, Sp 180+km/h is only RS125 160+km/h same as RVF

Casual talk with the person on 2nd floor quoted me 12k without me providing any details. He seems to have included COE because he cited the current high COE.

No doubt this is a Europe bike so the higher pricing.

I'm just wondering besides the beautiful Brembo front caliper, are there any other quality parts on this machine to justify the cost?

Love the curves on the fairings of cos.

YZF-R125 is a realli nice big bike for class 2b but telling u its a 4 stroke 125cc so don't expect it to fly like other 2t bikes.Top speed is around 130km/hr acceleration its e best among 4 stroke , back then it was cbr125r with best acceleration among 4 strokers. If u r going for power n looks RS125 is really for u but bro u must have the financial power ready before getting rs125.

hmm it realli depends on how u ride yr bike petrol wise within a few days u would have to top up already 2T oils maybe twice a mth engine oil its best to change every 1500km. Besides i am very very sure u will go for some mod to further improve yr bike performance trust me u will definitely do certain mods to it like changing e front sprockets or certain knN air filter plus better racing footrest LED lights etc etc haha bro if u r really going for power then get this bike ba u will love its power.. Within few seconds can get u to 100km/hr. top speed plus few mods can get u to 200actually..but ride at this speed onli in JB haha

Oh ok. It's true what you said.

Any idea what is the fuel consumption ? I agree that the maintenance is the same as KRR and SP. Well, I don't have the right connections for it. May be you can introduce me to that someone who you know who mass order parts and share the shipping cost to save money. Would really appreciate that.

Well, it's good to know that none of the Aprilian riders are complaining about their babies. Well said, ' You want good looking baby, then be willing to spend on it.. If not, then settle for an ugly baby which needs lesser $...

S$100 - S$200 shouldn't be a be a problem as I doubt I might even spend it on anything spoilt. It's just a backing. It means, RS is more powerful than Sp. The pick up of it shld be good. right ?

Basically, 4 stroke bikes are economical bikes with good fuel consumption & easy maintenance. Both, YZF-R125 & RS125 have the looks but RS125 is one point plus as for performance wise. How much is RS125 full tank cost ? How much would a 2T oil cost for RS125 ? Changing engine oil is cheap right ? About less than S$25 right ? Well, I ain't sure about the modin as in what to mod to further improve my bike performance. I will sure get good LED lights & might change to a better footrest. May be you can guide me about the moding of the bike. Hehe. This bike performance is really good as the pick up is awesome. Haha, after modding, the speed of 200km/h only can be ride in JB as Singapore got restrictions. Lol.

Friend, if interested, just get a rs125.

Just dun get a RS125 which have been equipped with MILO EXHAUST for a long time. other than thAt you are safe, the cost are similar to SP. Dun ask me why, I lazy to explain.

fyi, SP is better in performance then SP, and lastly, you go and die better, haven pass want to dream of modding to 200... (What is youngster thinking these days)
