nice.. should be panniers.. on your bike??

maybe it's the design of the SW motech rack.. my neighbours xplorer panniers also had minimal seepage during rain..

may top case is ok, parked under the freaking rain whole day (i wash my bike the night before!!!!)

Welcome to the S10 community here.

For the fact;

1st(1000km) & 2nd(3000km) Svc will be labour free but payable for filter etc at HL.

Bike comes with 6mth or 6000km warranty.if sent to HL for both Svc.the warranty is extend to 12mth/12000km.

Run-in;

Owner manual say : gentle run-in & no rev beyond 3.9k RPM.

Now for actual,

I sent mine to HL for 1st Svc,yet to clock 2nd Svc milage.

Run-in was done on a round trip to mine city for some yummy food.

But this S10 will run smooth when the milage start clocking.

As per manual, avoid prolonged throttle above 3900rpm. So, during my running in ride, I will go up to 5000 rpm, then ease out til below 3900 again. But avoid revving for first 3 gears as advised by all mechs i talked to.

Anyway bro, did u get your servicing booklet, u can check for the details. U need to do your first 2 servicings at HL to keep ur bike under warranty. Also, check that your bike have been registered hor

Just passed my 1000km mark, now I will try going higher le.

Talking abt panniers flooding, my fren been using xplorer panniers on his fz1 for 1 year, always park outdoor, so far never flood b4 leh. Maybe factory defects?

the warranty coverage from HL is very tedious,12 mth or 12000km.

definitely u can't keep ur mileage within 12000km till a year,unless local riding only.

last known is tat explorer boxes all along have the issue of water seepage from the bottom overlap area.

maybe your friend already kenna once and pumped silicon along the edges to prevent anymore water seepage..

Hi guys, I'm interested to get an S10 as well. Where is a good shop you all will recommend to buy? There're a few shops in mind but I'd like to see which shops you bought yours from.

Thanks!
