I'm back!

BitingPoint : Your blackout S.10's looking good. I've been thinking about removing the red stickers too. You beat me to it. Good job on the black out fork. You made the S.10 look slimmer already.

Welcome to de S10 community.

The stock rear rack of S10 will need to be replace by Givi base rack.I will assume ur Givi top box base plate is still around.

I'm sure the lady at mah motor will have ready stock for the base rack for S10.

Cheers

Soft run-in like the manual state will be better due to the shaft drive however semi-hard run-in are also ok.

I did semi-hard run in and was only getting average FC.but feedback from fellow bros that had switch to full Syn EO give more smooth engine.

I still using semi-Syn oil for S10.lol

*This may offend some folks that make a living from selling engine oil/supporter.

in my limited mechnical knowledge say that for a brand new engine that is build by some precision robots in a high-tech factory line will produce a product that has less tolerance or gaps between moving parts within the engine.

hence metal bits/duct/etc will bound to be present during the initial run-in period.which explain why most engine will only reach it intended performance on milage starting from 5k km~10k km onwards before performance are tempered off and reach the stage which need valve adjustment or top overhaul etc.:faint:

minieral oil may not be fast-flow,thinner rate or bombard with extra additive to make it run smooth, run fast, run like a eagle....but it serve a purpose which is to have that thick oil firmness for those low gear high rev application( read: off road/pickup/tire burnout) and also cheaper to purchase.:thumb:

no doubt i will switch over to full-syn oil along the course of ownership however i like my oil fresh...hence EO change out is 3k~5k km period & depend on condition or period of usage.

there is a old saying " fresh oil beats used oil anytime". maybe i'm just too old...lol :cheeky:

i dun see why you would offend EO seller/supporter???

you are encouraging frequent change of EO..

be it semi or fully syn, fresh EO always better than used ones..

hmm, thnx for the heads up, will be reading more into it when Ive got time...

can always find a 2nd hand one..
