i believe its to do with the CPO futures being launched on NYMEX.

 

apparently the contract months follow the physical being delivered to Malaysia. FCPO contracts.

I'm buying the slightly bigger names.

Capland, Keppel Corp, Sembcorp, Singtel, StraitsAsia,

Most are up 5 - 10 % from my cost, some are still flat.

 

Most recently i bought 25 lots of Ascendas REIT at $1.92 $1.93

This counter, i think i will accumulate up to 40-50 lots for longer term hold.

Me too, i usually leave the pennies alone.

maybe play a bit $10k $20k max.

 

Now looking to take profit on Straits Asia and Singtel.

Interesting read, Could not have started at a worse timing during about Dec 07, when prices are high and it was going down and I was averaging down?!, thinking I can do without the money for a while. Luckily the mkt came back up but still I think I just break even. I was wondering when I can take profit. YZJ went up and came down a few times and I did not take a single one of them. 3-4 times I think. For discussion sake, if I sold & buy back, each time it could be 20 k if my judgement is very astute. But of course, I did not do anything haha I was hooooping that at 1.20 there is still a lot of room for it to grow to e.g. 1.50. The high at the time I bought was about 1.90.

 

Sorry just my rambling...Also have YLL & Hiaptong?
