Anyone of you doing Gan-Tong for whatever reason..plse do verified with the specialist b4 doing go..meaning what $$$s for what's to be done.

There is a difference between "servicing" and "rebuild". Servicing can range from disassembly for cleaning up and changed of oil, gas up and internal component inspection and may cost around $150 to $200.

Rebuild means replacement of parts like if Spring is out of spec for its function, you can add spacer or change spring, cleaning and oil chain + gas up, seal normally replace even if its good and a host of other nitty gritty. I paid mine for $300.

If you find you damper rod is too far down (tell tale sign is the shinny part..like more let like that)..your gas level is low..have it "recharge" at $40.

The best is dot to tell them what you wanna do...but to tell them your ride problem with the bike and seek their advise with regards to the performance you are experiencing with ur Gan-Tong...if its your Gan-Tong of course. Also don't be just go to any mototiam..no problem also say got problem and they will sub-con for servicing while telling you to come back may be end of the day..and blur blur don't know what's is done..and may get charge rebuild price for servicing price. My advise is that..they go for "servicing" if there is nothing wrong.

If ever your you see wet oil stain and duust attracted to spring or damper slider rod..seal is bad..definitely need to change otherwise it would "bottom" and further damage is likely..this could also be a tell tale sign taht your dpring up sprang is slow thus spring performance spec is off.

Please note that all the above said is IMHO and at your own discretion.

try check ur throttle cable.when engine off , turn ur throttle as if ur riding.

release e throttle see whether e throttle return at its ori position.

throttle cable might be worn out.
