my ver S stolen while lunching at JB. it was 15mins in the coffee shop and gone. beside sungai seget, many people, parked right in front of another coffee shop 3 doors away, opposite of maybank. amazing!

 

the parking attendant didn't see anything, the police booth is just 50m away.. . sigh

Loosing a bike must really be devastating...

Especially after all the Blood, Sweat and Tears taking care of her...

I know of one eldery guy who has a brand new blue Vtec 3..ride slow with the bike like as if it was a 150cc bike and did it a lot of city riding. After less than 4 months, he went back to Ban Hong to complain about white blueish smoke coming from his engine sometime. When they checked, found out that the mid engine block has a hair line cracked (where coolant been leaking in small amount and yet dried up ast from heat of engine)..further check found the coolant reservoire dried and finally, the radiator was dried too. Cost him almost 2K just for the block..not only that...has to wait almost 3 months + for the block. He thought initially he can claim warranty but this was not the case..considered under owner negligence for maintenance.

 

yeap..like what ahpek had always said, our bikes are high-rev bikes. u ride slow and never whack, means you 'sabo-ing' your bike already. asking for trouble.

 

SO this mean our bike is meant to go fast ah???

Recently aft my riding i notice the radiator fan turned on...

I ask my dad if he encounter it b4, surprisingly he didn't, he even thought the radiator fan wasn't working...

 

After hearing ur stories, is it just me or must i check the coolant/ do the flushing and adding new/better coolant...

 

Don't wish to destroy a be-e-a-utiful bike...

Cose i've go a quotation from "racing_tech" regarding their Equip-X Sliders...

 

Front Axle $55 SGD

Rear Axle $80 SGD

Frame $60 SGD

 

Any advice???

Yes sir!...and premixed with a can of STP oil treatment..it give you closer to 15/50W :0)

 

Great! Next oil change i will use this eo and pour in the stp oil treatment as well. cheap sia!

hw to get rid of chrome?

i wana spray my crashbars to another color..

 

Sand with rough paper..then sand with fine sand paper..the idea is to make the surface course so the prmer layer paint has grip. Make sure every layer is fimne sand and baked for a solid job (paint would flake or crack under humid condition).

Make sure you premixed them first b4 pouring in...that's 1 STP can to 5 litres of Carlube eo.
