Check with you guys.

what's the recommended psi pressure for both our front/rear tyre?

is it 240/275. thanks alot

No fixed values..subjected to rider weight, overall load daily and tyre type (soft or hard compound). Give and take..around what you mentioned..just be sure you are comfortable with your ride and handling of the bike feels proper.

Also note that when tyre reaches half life of its usage..again, you have to adjust to suit.:sian:

i see. thanks for your advice ah pek.

that's new "Also note that when tyre reaches half life of its usage..again, you have to adjust to suit." didn't know about that.

kifakw

Understeer is when you hit the wall with the front of the car

and oversteer is when you hit the wall with the rear of the car.

Horsepower is how fast you hit the wall,

torque is how far you take the wall with you.

Yah...especially hard compound tyres..they tend to get very hard and gets unforcomfortable for ride comfort where as soft compund..handling amy feel heavy and soggy especially fron't tyre.

Hmmmmmmmmmmm...? o_O You should asked them why the following "FF" brand? You should instead state your budget or rather the $s u willing to fork out. For example..why AFAM if you are just a day to day rider suing your bikes for regular routines...why not stock Honda? :sian:

hi riders,i have been quite bothered with my FC.

so hope to get some advice/suggestions/recommendations.

First of all,i understood from ah pek that FC of every bikes vary, and many factors that will affect FC such as types of tyres used, tyres pressure, riding styles...etc.

But will just like to check with everyone if there are any ways, more or less which will help improve my FC,cos its really bad.

Some information:

My ride is a Version S

Tried riding normally and wack, both give about the same FC.

Use Esso 5000

Micron End Can only

FC - pump full tank and have to turn to reserve at 200km to 240km;Otherwise,engine will stall and will not be able to start.

Meaning my FC is only about 13-16km per litre.

I think this is really bad.haha.

Anyone can advise? Thanks

recently i changed air filter, not those branded ones like K&N or BMC but just a stock one. my fc seems to increase from 22-23km/l to 24-25km/l for local riding... still monitoring for a few more full tanks. i think air filter is something usually overlooked when fc is concerned

agreed!! air filter n many other factors that we tend to overlook when we are talking about FC. but hanxx's case is really extreme. but nevertheless, best is to take note of the minor details that might affect FC. they may all add up and give u extremely poor FC.

Btw Hanxx and patience needed...if you really wanna see how your bike perform for your fc..pump a full tank near to the brim and go ride on the longest expressway you can find and seee how it does..stick to 90km/hr to 120km/hr the very most and see how you fare. I'm saying this is because it could be your riding style and routes taken daily. Do it over an weekend evening and continue the next morning if it takes to finished the tank.

Base on the above, you can determine the likely problem of your bike.

I did that a long time ago and surprising clocked 350km+ before hitting reserve on an old horse machine.

If there is..its not gonna be cheap..why not settle for a hand held infra or laser temperature measuring instrument..yet it can be used for measuring just about any other parts and things...just a thought.
