oh... ya... the paint work still looks good. however, the COE left 2 yrs.. so thought of selling while it still got value. anyway here is the his of this bike. i got it in dec 05. been tow to wkshp twice due to rect problem. everything is worned up. changed all the bearings, brake pads and cluth pate.

 

well, selling to my friend who is looking for ver s for sale and this baby have been visiting the wkshp very often, so thought of changing to a newer bike within my pocket range...

 

gonna miss her! been washing it twice per month and not forgetting going to the wkshp lalmost once everymonth sometimes twice.

 

haiz..... i must agree that ver s is a nice ride, however, the output is too much for this ride.

 

my friend is a bike work shop owner and he have some contracts to supply ver s, he will take in n do up the bike, however, it will cost me a bomb if i were to change all the parts , so might as well sell it to him since he offer me quite a reasonable price.

i can tell u that my full tank can hardly reach 330 as my clutch plate is worn and futher more my rpm never go more than 5 for my riding style. got once i only hit 270.... something is just wrong with my bike.

 

changed EO, oil & air filter, spark plug, all the bearings, tune & wash carb when i took over still can hit this kind of millage is funnie.... even with clutch plate wear, i dun think so it should hit soo low a millage.

 

i am not putting up for sale in the forum as i dun want other rider to get it then end up paying more than enjoying the ride.

 

so selling it to a mech who will do up the bike 1st!

I do know that power cut means when u reach certain rpm..it will cut and stop at certain number...its not like wat u think...suddenly cut the power..lolz..if u ever clear ur meter...u will see some allowance left for the rpm to reach it's max...

Fully mod my Vs there too. Very experienced guy. But be prepared...gd things dont come cheap :giddy:

hello choyster....can i ask if ya wanna change paintwork before sending to the bike shop....mine is a self spray matt black by my father's friend...initially the paintjob was great but he didnt give lacquer coating so the paint doesnt look very good...was thinking of exchangin with ya since ya wanna push to shop...i will top up cash if ya wanna...

wat is power booster ? IT seem that it is comparing against the redtec or something like that ? It seem that Ver S can fix it too. Anyone here does it and how is it ?

Redrev is a device tat will bypass e pow cut circuitry in vtec series, thus allowing rpm to go beyond e 13k red region…..

For ver s, we dun hav to add redrev…. Juz remove e pow cut will do…..

 

as for pow booster its a external unit tat help generate more voltage for e spark plug unit..... alternative u can replace a stronger batt or rectifier

Current P200 setup: Sinnob Sproc[15, 39], NGK platinum plug with spark booster, V3 racing coil, cheetah CDI[dual mode], broquet B2, DIY oiler, hazard light, DIY gnding, PE28[pj-38, mj-120], open pod filter

Thanks.... really sad to part with it soo fast... was thinking of riding it till COE finish.. but then been giving me too many problems le... so no choice gotta let go since my friend will do up the nessary b4 handling to the new owner.

HI guy,

 

Ver S seem to be able to adjust the preload. May i find out how to adjust it ? It seem like it is able to turn clock and anti clock wise. Which way is to harden it ?

should be anti-clock to harden. for my VerS tat is. correct me if i am wrong. but most bike is clockwise to harden. i find it strange. :confused:
