but i wonder how to ride busa at PG

short track plus long bike... :faint:

can tweak the bike a bit.. play ard the suspension and dogbones...

my wheelbase is about 1.5" shorter than stock... so it can turn in better...

can do that if you really feel that the bike is too long... :thumb:

Ok thanx... :thumb:

The look it seems like long bike...i have to learn and ride my bike often to get the feel of it... :cheeky:

I thought a thought. But the thought I thought wasn't the thought I thought I thought. If the thought I thought I thought had been the thought I thought, I wouldn't have thought so much.

U know anything about GI pro w/ATRE? whats the pros and cons having a TRE? Any long-term side-effect on the bike?

it taps the stock GPS (gear position sensor) to give you a read-out of the gear your bike is in.

TRE (timing retard eliminator) - as the name suggests removes the ignition timing retardation that occurs in both lower 3 gears and top gear (6th). The lower 3 gears are retarded and does not give you the full power. the 6th gear is retarded so there's a soft limiter at top speed of 300kph.

pros - as above

cons - will cause idling problems in neutral gear. in earlier versions of the TRE.

however i believe the GI pro will let the bike see that it is in neutral and not affect the neutral map for the idling.

Hey bro, Clifford told me about the dog bones also and told me to install it, but didn't really tell me what is it for. Is it for shortening the wheelbase?

Shorten the wheelbase to turn in to corners lighter and faster, and of cos to make ur "a**" looks higher too.

actually can go either way.. depends on what dogbone u purchase.. u either can lengthen or shorten your weight base.. like u say shorten will make the butt higher and corner easier but will lose stability on high speeds. while lengthen usually for dragbikes will give u stability on high speeds but difficult to corner.. :thumb: :thumb:

this is the exactly similar to the setting up of the bike's powerband, based on what you want out of the bike and the main usage pattern, some will opt for top end power (high peak hp) while others will opt for lower peak but higher torque at lower ranges of rev along with higher avg hp throughout the revs..

if the riders feel that most of the time they are travelling at above 280kph.. then most probably keeping the stock wheel base or even extending it will be desirable.. while on the other hand, those who likes to "flick" (small extend when used on a busa) their bike around and does a lot of city mileage then a shorter wheelbase will suit them better..

different strokes and different cuts for the individual... :thumb:

Thanx for the info :thumb:

I think the dog bone will be useful for me since I hardly ever go about 200kph and does plenty of city riding... :)
