you VIRGIN?!?! then i think my Madass can go a top speed of 399kmh!! :nobuaya:

i did TEKA long time ago at Looi's Motor when Meng Kong was still there. he told me it was to tune the ECU for a better fuel/air mixture. i guess that's about it. i heard someone done TEKA at Sanfu too. :thumb:

Ya Sanfu mech also got do Teka.

Teacher Teacher, why do you need to reset the ECU before running a PC huh? i did TEKA tuning before and i did not reset my ECU before installing the PC. will there be any problem?

once you have tuned with TEKA or YOSHI, you are no longer running on the stock ECU mapping and to do a separate tune using a piggy back system is just going to make it harder to get the tune correctly.. the overall effect is just that the tune become less predictable...

and now if you decide to reset the ECU back to stock, all the mapping done on the PC is totally off already..

since its done.. just keep it that way then.. :goodluck:

There's no replacement for displacement except for a blower

Teacher Teacher, will it be better if i can reset the ECU then tune my PC again? if i were to reset my ECU, how can i do it? will normal workshop be able to do it or i have to go somewhere that has TEKA tuning available?

won't die la. the most engine piang then you can have no doubts and carry on with your high comp project. i checked on ebay, JE pistons are about US$460. shipping with insurance is just US$47. add up and coverting on the current exchange rate of 1.36, not even SGD$700. :D

what do you think of the price quote for Yoshimura's titanium valve springs at US$110 and titanium retainers at US$229? only thing is that shop i enquired with did not have the titanium valves. :goodluck:

dun fix anything that's not spoilt la..

if u are ok with the tune then save the $$ and keep it that way la.. until the next time u want to do tuning then go reset (need to use TEKA to reset) then retune the PC.
