Loud I agree. But the useless part is subjective... :)

Are they good on what?

Durability?

Stability?

Performance?

Cornering?

Advance technology?

price?

Buying an HD is a personal preference and I do agree. But they are well over priced for what they offer. I was fortunate enough to get a Busa K8. My question is that, which HD can compare with a K8? I can go on with other brands in comparison with HD on dollar-to-dollar basis.

I will never accept that someone buys a HD because its a good bike. However I have to admit riding a HD, brings you to a different status that is widely acceptable.

Owning a HD shows that you are well of and successful (if you have the need to show that). Very well organized Clubs, superb events and the feeling of belonging, never worry you'll get booked by TP for loud pipes. Commercially the best ever, technologically CRAP.

Eh.. seriously, its really quite dumb to even think of comparing a HD with a K8. I will not contest your perception since its really up to individual. But I do notice that most (not all) people who complain/comment/feedback about HD are those who never rode one before... :) Its all about the type of fun you want. I hardly heard about HD riders complaining or criticizing other brands or bikes, but often the other way round.

From my interaction with HD riders, they are a group who love bikes, love what they ride and are proud to be bikers. And as far as I know, they respect other bikers too, regardless what they ride. I can't say the same for the other bikers who ride "better" bikes....

I am a biker and I am proud of that fact, regardless what I ride. Its sometimes just sad and disappointing to see how some bikers put down fellow bikers' choice of bikes and think that they are far more superior... haiz...

Does choosing or riding the most technologically advanced bike meant that one have made a smarter choice?

In any case, I am a proud busa owner and even after I sell my bike, I will still agree that its the best bike I've ridden. :thumb:

I will not come into a debate as both of us we agree that the choise of bike is personal preference. My point was that many HD riders call the Japanese bikes "sewing machines". So my argument was the comparison between HD and the "sewing machines".

Its a rider's choice fo what bike he wans to ride.. but HD are just overpriced choppers. most buy it not for the ride its more of a brand.. HD are the utilmate chopper. once u say HD its a chopper that comes first to yr mind.

what can HD do that other chopper can't? are they faster? more fuel efficient? louder? can u do waht you do on a HD on other brands of choppers? its just the brand name u are paying for that is so ex.. plus HD are reali good bikes with proper maintainence they can last very long.

if u like the HD then so be it.. but u are reali liking the brand name. and paying so much more for the same ride. but thats yr choice and there is nothing wrong with it dont let others put you down. be happy with your choice.

its like a normal jeans and a hugo boss jeans. most ppl pay hugo boss for the branding ....

opps.. i said too much.. :thumb: :thumb:

It is the ultimate. cos they run on mineral oil. they build to last. they are world known. they have their own mod parts/aftermarket accs/fashions/culture. many ppl see HD is a art.:dot:
