Alright heres the picture of the broken T-rex bracket,

So roughly you have an idea of the pro and con of using the T-Rex slider. If I am not wrong, they had modified the design slightly to counter the touching issue. But you got to clarify with them. And after this incident, I seriously doubt the bracket will hold during a low slide. It your call.

Kinwei, if u don mind me asking, can tell us how your falls occurred? were they static drops? Can share so tat we can understand the strength and weakness of the sliders. Tks.

If you feel the hot air blowing towards you when the fans are working, it is a good things. You would not want the heat to trap inside the engine. So if you buy a better fan blade, like muzzy, it just means that more hot air will blow towards you but maybe for a shorter time cause the heat disipate faster.

And where the hot air flow out of the bike is pretty fixed by how the air is being directed. For busa, I can feel the heat mainly disipate out from the leg area, around the ankle. Even my pillion also complain hot. But there is nothing much you can do about it.

The first fall is with me on the bike.. But kinda slow motion fall down.. the side stand just simply fold back when I'm resting the bike on the side stand. You all should know how easy the side stand fold back by now. But I was trying to tahan the bike as the bike slowly and gracefully lie down on the ground. So I can say the impact is not so much.

The 2nd time, I think the bike just drop down itself. It was one peaceful sat night where I was happily lying on my bed when my bro called me saying my bike is lying on the ground at the carpark. So I LL go there and picked up the bike. I suspect someone was trying to steal my bike cover. And I always use a carabina to hook the cover to the front wheel. So I think while that bugger pull the cover, the whole bike kinda move foward and drop down HARD. But from memory, the slider bracket is still intact.

Seriously I do not know when the slider bracket break. It only recently I go and touch it then found out. So thats the story of how the slider bracket broke.

On the side note, Guys, please go and do the side stand mod if you know what I mean especially for the Gen2. A very simple experiment you can do to see how easy the side stand will fold back. Just rest the bike on side stand, then use some strength to push the bike forward of course with your hand getting ready on the brake. You can feel the side stand will fold back EASILY. And I noticed with the STOCK bazoka exhaust, it is easier to fold back.

Ride safe guys!

The owner did a few for scramblers too..

Hmmm scramblers too???????

That would be quite a handful to handle
