You need to access the GPS connector. Need to lift up the fuel tank. It is on the left side nearer to the fuel tank pivot hinge. If not wrong, it should have 3 cables with one which is Pink in colour. The TRE should be in between the GPS 2 white connector. Just unplug the TRE and connect back the 2 white connector.

It can do what the PC can and can't do. It can adjust the fuel and ignition timing mapping and so much more. However you are changing the value inside your ECU. Unlike PC, when you remove it, everything goes back to stock. PC only manipulated the signal coming out of the ECU to the injector. But they will have a stock setup for the ECU. Meaning if you want to change back to stock, just flash the stock setting back.

Just to add on,not necessarily everything goes back to stock.Stock map can be erased.Heard of TEKKA before perhaps?

PC is never ending, costly as due to wear and tear. You must periodically dyno,if not your bike performance will be different as the air, fuel ratio will be inaccurate.Depending on the usage of the rider, servicing and maintenance plays a role too in the outcome.

was wondering it's worth changing to brembo brake disc at the price of $1200 as i still prefer the non-wavy type..

coz my stock rotor is slighty warped and when near stop will cause violent vibrations.

btw any bro here encounter this problem also? i mean does the brake disc wear off so easily?

any other brake disc for recommendation?

Not for me.No X factor, from far not many will know that it's from Brembo.

Brake rotor wear and tear depends of individual riding styles, types of brake pads used, mileage on it,regular maintenance.

Warp maybe dued to accident, wrong usage of brake pads, installation of brake rotors.

Sometimes the disc may not be the cause of the prob. In my case, the front pads that I used is a cheapo one so mech suggested to change pads and i did.

True enough, the vibrations gone liao.

Your exhaust pipes are fine. The dents are standard in all Gen2 bikes.

Erm.....................................

Well good to know it's standard from what you say. Just have to bear with it for awhile.

From your pictures,i suspect the alignment either your rearset on your left is off or your mid pipe on the left is slightly bent outwards.

By adding unwanted additonal washers can bring out your rearset facing outwards.

How I wish I knew what the previous owner did to it. For now I gotta check with my mech and see what happens. Hee...

Kinda scary thou.. I'm thinking of in a case of e-braking then the whole bike vibrate..

Actually I'm also looking at the 3 months old disc.. but afraid that it won't solve the problem..

How much does a new pair of stock disc cost?

Ya, did Tekka before for my other GSXR. But not really efficient cause the tuning resolution is quite low.

Yes, I agree dyno have to done periodically in other keep the bike performance tip top. That why I stick to stock. Maybe once in a while flash my ECU myself with ti kum value. Hahahaha.

Took my bike for a ride the very first time today.. Engine feels very jerky all the way and rather bad vibrations.. When gasing from low rpm has a weird sound, like helicopter sound.. Very jia lat.. Haha..

Anyone has encountered this problem before?

Water in fuel tank or spoilt/fouled spark plug? One solution, go find Ah Beng!

I know there is Black/Gold for K9 or 2009 model. I know cause I was offered this colour scheme when I purchase my K9. As for whether L0 or 2010 model have such colour scheme, I'm not sure. But I don't think have. I only rememer the 2010 model having a more bold graphics. I found a link from google image stating the 2010 colour scheme,

Link

To add on, year 2009 model manufactured can be registered under 2010 also. Meaning leftover stock. One way to confirm is to check the engine tag which is at the steering cone area. It should state it is K9 or L0.

I only play with the 100% throttle + near top RPM value nia. I noticed the fuel is lesser at the top end. Maybe that why the power seems to drop near top end.
