Yeah, I agree. The protruding brakes are really a hindrance. Esp when i was learing backwards blading, it gets in the way! So i've removed them long time ago.

there is a similar one last yr, TEAM SINGAPORE CHALLAGE, dun noe tis yr hav anot......check out the papers........can blade, cycle or run, 10 km fr marina to stadium & back....

u are a true skater! :thumb:

 

really. iz true guys...learn to do without the blades' brakes as they are really dangerous and waste of $$. Intermediate skilled skaters might wana give it a try?

 

however on most skates models during my time,..when u remove the OEM brakes, you have to replace the rear wheel axle with a shorter axle. quite troublesome if cannot find the spare parts.

Nice to see there are so many blading enthus ard! Would love to join u ppl for a blading session, but quite a long time no blade liao due to heavy work schedule, hope I've not lost the touch!

But if u ppl really wanna go blade, I would love to join in if I can but pls dun last min, cos I not riding, will need time to go down to places like East Coast or watever!

any1 noes on ave how much it cost for the wheels of the roller blades ? mine like too old n the rubber came off..

depends on the brand... cheapo type no brand, i tink afew dollars...

better ones prob can set u bak by 50bucks a set...

 

rubber come off, better change man.... u dun wana blade halfway n when these things give way... eat grass man...
