soft boot strictly for leisure...

if you want to learn things like hockey-stop or slides, go for harder boot with more support...

if you wants to do both, then a harder boot with slightly bigger wheels(80mm-84mm)...

thks. :thumb:

technically speaking, high/low and rocker are different.

high/low > usually for hockey blades. 1st and 2nd wheels are smaller, whereas 3rd and 4th wheels are larger. all 4 wheels touch the ground when standing upright.

rocker > 1st and 4th are smaller, or are arranged in such that only 2nd and 3rd wheels touch the ground when standing upright. usually for slalom blading.

hi/lo is kinna standard for hockey skates... so does salomon FSK skates...

but the "rocker" frames that you are refering to are standard frames with smaller front and rear wheels... the only frame i know that is rockered are on Easton hockey skates with a frame setup of 1st-72mm, 2nd-68mm, 3rd-80mm and 4th-72mm...

for my aggro skates im using anti rocker.

anti rocker - 1st and 4th wheels bigger, 2nd and 3rd wheels smaller.

great for grinding handrails.

after reading ur reply... i am still wondering whether u really understand the differences of hi/lo and rockable blades.

i agree that most of the hockey blades use hi/lo frames. but, hi/lo is not a standard for fsk skates. some fsk frames are rockable by arranging the axles or wheels are install such that only 2nd n 3rd wheels touch the ground.

thus a hi/lo frame or any style of skates can acheive rocker effect by using different wheel sizes so that only 2nd/3rd wheels touch the ground when upright.
