:faint: u r not supposed to do that. physics gal, physics.

I was in primary school then. I'm much older now, but the fear of exploding eggs remains!

When I cook egg in Maggie mee, I always stir the egg until all mixed up with the water then put in microwave~

I tend to crack it into the bowl raw, then pour the steaming hot noodles+soup over it, and stirstirstir.

Eh I just realised 5/6 of the items have eggs. Easy to cook.

I am a big fan of eggs, not the chicken farms though......maybe I should try to date a eggs distributor?

Another item I like, but that usually stinks up the household.....is 'Pork trotters vinegar'.

Skin and slice gingers,

Stir fry gingers with sesame oil in a wok, pour them into a electric claypot. Throw in japanese mirin, rock sugar and black sweet vinegars.

Clean the pork trotters of hair and slightly sauteed the pork in the same wok still with leftover sesame oil and then put into the claypot to boil and then simmer.

Cook plenty of hard boil eggs and throw the shelled out eggs into the claypot 2 hours before you want to serve the pork trotters vinegar dish with the eggs.

Stir fry olive oil with sliced up peppers makes the peppers caramalise and taste very sweet.

Is a bike engine cover hot enough to cook eggs on? Mine probably is :3

Must bring tiny frying pan, 2 eggs and oil next time.

still need saucepan ah. dont be such a poosy cat, fry the eggs directly on the engine

or open the radiator cap and hold the egg directly over it

boring rider. with a boring bike.

too old to want to appear interesting anymore.

Hi,

Happened to chance upon this topic. Sorry to interupt u guys. I am a foodie myself and love to go all around in search of food. I love the whole process of cooking and is a very theraputic activity. Personal favourite includes:-

Roasted chicken with herbs on a bed of sweet potatoes and carrots

Cheese omelette on toast

caesar salad with self made dressing

pan fried cod fish on sauteed spinach

bacon wrapped asparugus

chocolate souffle

lamb stew

teriyaki chicken sandwich

as u guys can see most of the stuff are western... cos i feel is much simpler than chinese cooking. And my idol is jamie oliver... lol...

Good to meet up with guys that share the same passion... perhaps one day we can have a cook out session.

Cheers,

Lister

Remarks: Currently not riding, but i will be back very very soon after my class 2!!!! in may!!!

Soak and then lice up shitake mushrooms

Stir fry and simmer in a wok with lots of soy sauce/oyster sauce.

Peel and cut up chunks of yams. Wash and put rice in rice cooker.

Sitr in the mushrooms and yams with the rice. Cook.

With the same wok, boil some water and drop in washed veggies and bring out when lightly boiled, arrange on plate. Serve with the cooked yam rice.

Heh heh heh....depends on who I cook for. Some family members is allergic to prawns. So that shrimp portion, I have to sometimes leave it out.

ABout dry shrimp. I like to grind the 'dried small shrimps' in the blender with chilli and then fry it and keep as 'Hae Bee Hiam'. Great for adding into Curry, Laksa, plain porridge & serve on toasted buttered bread.

The crushed garlic you want is in the wet uncooked rice, or should I fry it at the wok 1st?

u need to fry it first to bring out the fragrant, then u add to your uncook rice...
