Well if diesel engines can run on used cooking oil, I'm pretty sure cooking oil have other uses in the engine department, it's worth a shot if you don't mind the risk involved.

agreed!!! but i am not even going to think about it..

i believe it can be *use* as a 2t but of course it will not protect and lub, i just find it very interesting that this kind of stuff can actually be use as a 2t.. and moth balls as a ortane boaster..i wonder if there are more (hidden receipe:thumb:)

wat i tink best is still stick to our normal 2T as lubricant its not worth tryin out funny funny things to ur bike end up who suffer u urself of course...

yeah true, i do not intend to try it, i am a poor man haha , don have that kind of stupid money..

 

but indeed he save up alot of money by it..now he is riding a haya still everytime he see me topping up, he laugh at me for wasting money.

theoretically. cooking oil can be used as 2t because 2 stroke bikes in sgp is of small cc.. that is 150cc and below... therefore, they are not undergoing extreme pressure... cooking oil with good lubricity and combustibility can good the job too...

btw, petrol does a better job in cooling the piston... 2t does a better job in lubricating the piston and crank...

One of my friends who ride RXZ for 8 years, use only engine oil, single grade type, to substituent 2T. Pistion never get jam & exhaust never emit white smoke.

Here, someone use COOKING OIL to substituent 2T.

Yeah I use my leftover engine oil from my car servicing for my Vespa last time. Rode it for yrs without any problem. For transport bike I think it's ok, but if u want performance den stick with resonable quality 2T. According to a few mech, using single grade EO is better den those $2 or $3 2T.

i think dao biao brand should be the best.. cos my mum use it to cook dinner many year and no problem.. haha

If u really wanna use cooking oil, get a diesel engine bike.

dao biao oil are refined from Palm oil, dont think is a good choose.

Use Olive oil, 1 drop = 10 drop of plam oil as it expand when heated, very economical

or

Sun flower oil, very sticky - same like 2T, my mum always complaint very difficult to wash.

using eo to replace 2t is not new...i tried and knew that eo can be used as 2t also..but not recommended

but the olive is kinda expensive right, bought 1 last month at 8 bucks.. might as well use 2t.. haha.
