Dun use fender eliminator. Not good for wet road. The water will splash to u. I regret using but juz keeping it for good looks

Bro but it goes together with the tire hugger to eliminate that very same situation...been okie for me but since there are many many Uncle Sams recently i have re-attached it back just for the time being.

Did anyone here accidentally put the keyhole to 'P' instead of lock? I jus did and my bike batt has been drained. Why must there have an almost redundant feature?

When you put to (P) little lamp within the headlamp is on...i agree with you on that one...don't know why they have such a feature...

Hi. Decided to sell off my XJ6N so i'm taking apart some the the accessories that i have. Frando parts are less than 3 months old and are as good as new.Got it direct from simon (PMO here).I'm not bringing this items over to my new bike as i ordered the nc 700 x dct model which runs on auto/semi auto, therefore the bike doesnt comes with a clutch. The rest of the parts are less than 9 months old. Masterpumps are universal fit for most bikes as i was told by Simon. Do contact me for more info.

hey guys, read thru the whole thread and am thinking of getting a xj6.

just some questions

how many litre of EO is required for eo change? 3 or 4?

read the bike heats up quite easily.. is it as bad as a r6? since they are using the same engine. someone mentioned 90-100 degrees while cruising at 5k rpm? is that true? my cbr600rr is only about 70ish while cruising at 5k rpm.. if its true, this bike is pretty hot!

thanks in advance!

3 liters of EO definitely enough (w/wo oil filter change)

use 10w40 EO to have better cooling performance. i.e. below 100 deg C (above 100 deg C, fan start to on)

good all rounder bike.

The manual says at least octane number of 91 or higher.

Btw i accidentally flat my bike battery again! Turned the key to the 'P' mode. Haiz....thats the most stupid function of the xj6

thanks. really amazing how bikes on comp 12.2 can accpet 91 but the same will compromise a car engine.

Hi guys. Understand that XJ riders are a pretty rare species here in sg and this is by far the only place i could find with the most info available. I'm currently riding a spec3 and considering to upgrade to a XJ6N but there are a few ques I hope u guys could help me with before I decide.

1) I ride around 65% on the highways cruising at 120km/h, what's the rough FC I'll get riding the XJ?

2) Any idea how's the maintenance as compared to a spec3?

3) What's the diff between getting agent bike and parallel import? (Sorry, nv buy new bike before so dunno)

4) Read that there's ABS model in Europe, are the ABS models available here?
