yes it was mention in last night's keynote that it will be available for pre-order to 5 countries from next week onwards.

 

18 other countries in july10 (sg included)

 

and 88 other countries by september.

My speculation is, it's probably price of 3GS with 2 years plan now. ie, around 368? which is still marked up considering it is USD199 now..

It's stated on one of the website I found that the Iphone 4 will cost around USD300 like that. Convert to SG, so cheap meh? Or maybe they quote price with plan... Hmm... But yeah, like what you said, probably will cost like the 3GS but slightly higher...

imho... this is what i feel..

and when the 3 telcos have 4g network ready... the phone will come.

 

another thing i guess/feel/suspect

the difference with iphone4 and the 3gs are the

front cam, upgraded 5mp cam, batt life, casing, (any others?)

and the iOS4.

if we upgrade out 3gs with iOS4, it will work like the iphone4, apart what i mentioned above??

the reason why iphone is drawing such a big fan base is bcos, it's easy to use, and multi functional. plus, it has an open architecture that have many people writing, making apps for it. that is very unbeatable. It's not really a PDA phone, as it's not really meant for presentation, and such. but it's more of an entertainment phone.

 

anyway, in US, iphone4 16gb is 199 USD. 32gb is 300+. that's the announced price, and apple products usually have a pretty tight RRP.

Yes , there is . N i think it supports the faster 3.5G network too.

I install apps tat i need, unlike all those who jumped onto the bandwagons knowing nuts and install apps they dont need.

 

iPhone is good. They cant multi-task, have small screen, can't send files thru bluetooth to other phones and batts are not interchangeable!
