my priorities on $$ spending are

1: watever mama wants

2: my cat

3: my bike

As for food i usually dine at kopitiams, cook instant noodles, grab $1 hotdogs at ikea or if available have home cooked food, although i seldom get that..

Clothes wise i will only buy if its less then $20. Latest items i got was a t-shirt and slippers at cotton on for $5 each.

Monthly spending goes into hp bills, internet bills, utilities bills, conservancy charges, food and sand for my cat, and the occasional toy for him.

Lastly, i don smoke, gamble, drink, club or visit geylang so i guess that saves up quite abit? :thumb:

I used to buy a lot of books but they took up too much space! When we moved recently we had to throw away a lot of books! These days I borrow from the library and only buy if I really like the book. Last book I bought was The Alchemist.

So far no need to spend on bike because my partner would buy me "birthday presents" in the form of spare parts!!! Apparently I'm getting some brake/clutch lever for my birthday this year!!! o_O

Like you, a phone is just a phone to me. I prefer very basic models (can call, can send message, can take picture). I have a company-issued Blackberry so I do my web-surfing on that (no need to pay data charges hee hee).

i am so so so so jealous of you. grrrrrrr.

February 2011 - March 2012 = Phantom TA 200

March 2012 - August 2013 = Suzuki Impulse 400

Present = BMW (Bus, MRT, Walk)

Ever since I had my baby, my major spending has been on her. My body went out of shape after I gave birth and I can no longer fit in most clothes so I shop for her instead. LOL.

Bought yesterday:

4 small trashy chinese novels for $6/- at Chinatown

CK Dept Store @ Pisces Chinatown:

a bottle of lavendar johnson baby shampoo

a big bottle of cocoa bean shampoo. Forgot its name, but its really cheap and good.

1 bottle of hairgel with a pump

a toothbrushing mug.

2 big bottles of Fa spray deodarants

2 boxes of Dilmah Earl Grey Tea.

Very happy with the purchases, the spray deodants spells lovely, and its great to spray on socks and socks so I wont stink up any place when I have to take off my shoes.

Heavy to lug around, but it was a good happy shopping experience.

now i find that spending unnecessary money on the bike is kinda senseless

prefer to spend it on things that actually make a difference to my long term goals

think i may nt even be taking class 2 anymore...

boring rider. with a boring bike.

too old to want to appear interesting anymore.

  • 1 month later...

Been meaning to get a bag inset carrier, so its easier for me to locate things in my own bag instead of always having to dig. And ts suppose to make it easier to change bags too.

Anyway, most of them costs easily from $12-$100. But recently, I saw that if you buy the bundle two bottles of Lux shower cream, it comes with a bag inset carrier thingy. So I bought the shower creams just to get to the carrier. for $12.90 for two bottles of shower cream and the bag inset carrier....I think its actually quite worth it.

Though......I now have enough shower gels to last me till Chinese new year next year.

Daiso.....my Number 1 favourite shopping place: Spent $56/-

Bought some flower decorations and sewn onto a free pouch I got.

Then I bought 2 key identifier thingy and a book from those boxes kinda shop. Lots of things I bought at Daiso plus the key identifier for my mummy.

And this book is hilarious! Its just a notebook. but the cover is 'antique kungfu manual'
