Rock oil is gear oil rite not like engine oil ? anyone can clear my doubt thanks :thumb: Wad's the advantage of gear oil over normal engine oil :confused:

BRo u change gear no sound... is depending on the rider not the engine oil.

the engine oil only helps in smoothing the gears.. or sometime when gear dont engage properly.... the sounds comes cause of the rider....

any of u go jb to change engine oil? is it cheaper than in singapore?

anyone of u going in to pump petrol soon wanna go together? then can intro me which shop is better? :cheer:

bro, i'm a bike idiot.... i only ride to and fro, dunno anything much abt maintenance.... only know need to change engine oil every 5k km, change oil filter n spark plug every alternate oil change, change tyre n brake pad when they wear out....

 

even the chain need to change, also the motordiam uncle tell me then i change one....

 

what is impt to me is that dun speed on the rd, pray n pray that when i ride, the piston dun jam, esp on the expressway, then i'm happy already.....

 

erm so does brand really matter? :confused:

I dont think so fully syn wont break down so easily but some bikers like this brand or that brand so really up to individual.

For mi I dont use those brand we always use cos we have to pay for their marketing,advertising....etc... so is more xx.

I use RP cos their are specialize in oil only. Read review on other websites show it is value for money and perform just as well or even better than some famous brand.

I ask b4 at JB ah gua lane dere.. changing 4T is actuali much cheaper ley.

 

Eg. S'pore Esso Gold cheapest in town i tink mite be HKL dere. I tink is 15 or 16 dolla. JB dere is cheaper by 1 to 2 dollas only lo. 4gotten the actual ringgit price liao..so dun bother to change dere la.. no point.. its not safe dere oso.. i jz encounter a vri bad experience. Will post it up soon.

Petrol n marlboro. unstandable... but engine oil, spark plugs and air filter...???:confused: :confused: :confused:
