make sure ur bike is upright, not on side stand, take the dipstick n check. there shd b a min n max marking... just b sure its between the markings.

over top of engine oil will stress the engine. will add extra pressure to the conrod n crankshaft.

in short, cannot b too much or too little. too little will not provide enough lubrication. too much will stress the engine...

how to know enuff oil after top-up--->>> check from the small round "window" at the bottom right side of ur bike. The oil level after top up should be sumwhere between the low and high level mark when ur bike is in upright position..

overtopping will/may cause ur oil filter seal to leak. once it leak u have to change the oil filter. + another 3 bottle of EO

when oil filter leak, cannot do any to it. it is as good as spoil :cheeky:

u try use satay stick. :faint:

u cant buy a dipstick unless ur bike comes with it. Some dont need dipstick to check the oil level. Cos it will have a transparent glass window somewhere close to your gearbox.

Excess engine oil will cause

1) ur bike to be hotter then usual.

2) extra stress to the engine.

3) hard to find neutral / change gear.

4) lack of power.

5) extra buildup of pressure hence causing seal & gasket to give way.

But then... above cases are where U SUPER OVER TOP UP.

I learned from the bikeshop recently tt no bikes have a dipstick and a sight glass together on the bike. if ur bike have a dipstick, u wld not be provided wi a sight glass and vice v

If you live with chickens, you can only hop like a chicken.

But if you live with eagles, you will soar high to the sky.
