i sold my CBR919RRX FRXXX plate Nov 2003 for $8000. Me second owner and bike is 100% accident free.

Bike comes with Carbon fibre rear hugger, MRA Double Bubble, Gold electro plated Balancers K&N filter, Full set Dyno Jets and 1 month old dunlop tyres and brake pads.

Bike is good if tuned properly, As for which is better 919 or 929.

Depends on individual. The front tyre size is 16inch and rear is 17 inch so the front quite difficult to find tyres. Only use 010 and no stock change to dunlop.

prob too late for answer now, but the last time i went Mah Motors a few months ago, was quoted an FW plate rs125 y2k3 at $8.8k without insurance

a FN plate ZX4 is way too ex.... a FP or FQ plate ZX4-L8 model should not exceed 4k. L9 can fetch better price. resale value not very high as bike shop only take in at less than 2k. for handling and performance, i have nothing to complain abt. perhaps i have not ridden other 400cc sports bike.

I sold my ZX4 L8 at only 1.8k coz it doesn't have original fairing.

 

I was told by previously owner that my ZX4 was buang very jialat before. THe repair cost alot for the orginal owner and fibre glass fairing was built to replace the original crashed fairing.

 

Initially, the shop wanted to eat my bike for 2.5k but once he saw the fairing. He hestitate on eating my bike but still we agree on 1.8k.

 

I bought my ZX4 in last nov 2003 (I think) at 3k (+$10-$30). So dun get chopped by shop offering 4k OTR.

 

The parts is freaking $$$. You will be shock to hear the pricing of your parts!!

 

I'm a regular at HKL. Ah bee would tell me the price and ask my opinion whether to fix the parts or not. He do offer other cheaper alternative like soldering or weilding or new wiring. For checking up the availabilty and price of the parts will take Ah bee 2-3 hrs and getting the parts to the shop take another 3-4hrs.

 

Let me tell you my experience: I did go to other shops for parts, the bosses will shake the head and said: Sorry dude, the parts you want are very $$$ and of course I dun have the parts! Paiseh!"

 

When ever I go HKL, Ah bee will always say"Why you get this freaking bike for?? You might as when put $ into my pocket!" I wasn't angry as its was true. I did numberous repairs with one buang case on my ZX4 and cost me $2***.00 +++ Added up cost of all repair within 6 months.

 

Bro, If you keen on getting the ZX4, find your source of parts and repairs first just in case. The handling and the speed of bike is avrage good. Handling will lose to Fireblade but speed and power wise is top of the class in 400cc fairing bike. Top speed at 240+km/h (Clear meter), Pick up (win S4 specII and Devillue 600 and fireblade).

pal..can see tat u bought ur L8 in a lousy condition..u cant blame the parts to be EX.jus tat u didnt chose a good wan..if u get a wan in good condition u need not spend so much..My frien jus bought a L8 FQ plate at $5K++ in tip top condition..we went to many shop n most of the bike is in bad condition.all i can say is tat sporean donno how to ake care of bikes..sad..If u think kawa parts is ex then u r wrong..they r not cos they r lasting..if u know the dealer u can get e parts easily..n bike shop tell u they dont have cos they dont bother to find for u..

Looking for Honda Shadow 400 Slasher '02 Model (with 2 white stripes over the tank)

 

Strangely enough most of shops I've been to are selling at most FP-FR plates. Yet have to see any FV/FW Slasher....

 

What would be the reasonable price for well taken care of FV/FW Slasher? Around 9K - 10K?
