Hi bro ... yes, 20 - 22 July's ride to Frazer's Hill is pretty much confirmed. Do join us.

While Frazer's is confirmed ... we are still discussing spending the entire time there. There was a suggestion to spend a day elsewhere ... but as usual, its the ride and the company as well as the destination thats impt ... so we r quite open to suggestions.

Ohh man!! 20th I am

Flying off somewhere else.

If you guys have it earlier before 20th I can

Join in! Ohh well.

Had just recently rode up to KL though.

Just for you,

SATURDAY NIGHT FEVER

8.00pm from "Somewhere in Central Singapore" - PM me at 93270801 to enquire about meeting details.

Feature: "Northeast Corridor"

Do you know about the secret expressway leading from Pasir Ris to Marina Bay? You'll be cruising literally, suspended above busy roadways and right through the middle of a bustling commercial district but never gridlocked in traffic. Downtown East to Marina Bay Sands in 30 minutes or free cheeseburgers for all :)

@darkdragon88

Bring your CBR400 this Sat and everyone will swoon at your bike :D

Uh man, this sat won't be free. If not I'd love join in the Northeast Corridor Ride!

For motorcycles without large windscreens then install the smartphone as a dashboard facing you and you're good to go. If you have a yoke mount for the phone then it clamps securely to the handlebar. But you need to see where to purchase the RAM yoke mounts locally. Most shops just have the suction cup mounts which are obviously inadequate for motorcycle use.

Thus, using a smartphone as a GPS speedo is great fun with little hassle.

Can I ask where do you get the mount for your smart phone?

Thanks!

Tomorrow my bike shall be the only bike in SG with not one but TWO heads up display (HUD) projectors.

One device for GPS speedometer and the other a fighter-plane style holographic artificial horizon :D

Brought to you by kopitiam engineering :D

Want a tactical convoy experience out of the movies?

I can plant GPS tracker on someone else's bike or car and do a moving target interception using my heads up displays... in next month's coffeeshop engineering project :D
