Yes, we covered just that right at the end of the Seletar area 'exercise'. :3

Other things to write about from that night are the excellent informal convoy organisation (we appear to need -no- planning) and also the new high speed hump clearance skills. There's a way to jump the hump without much stress on the suspension :D

Glorious night weather ... hopefully remains this way till Fri ...

What you guys think? Shall we assemble @ Colbar @ 2100hrs?

Its at 9A Whitchurch Rd 138839 - 6779 4859 ... roughly opposite Min of Edu ...

Lets check it out as an alternative to KTM which is due to fade into history in 3 months.

Good suggestion on venue - Colbar does not get stellar reviews on Singapore's food review portals which is just what I like.

Those places with 5 star ratings are usually crowded like hell which beats the point joining the crowd and experiencing sub-par service.

Venues like Colbar are only appreciated by those who enjoy being transported back to none other than colonial times. FnB outings are not really about the food, it's the place and the company. However, this time you have to bring your own pillows - the place is setup like a 'traditional' Army canteen.

For future reference, Colbar is also pet friendly.

Now, it's just a pity I don't have a set of flannel cottons and khakis to act British with :p

What a night!

FnB became Saturday Morning Bikers!

Due to these 2 miserable objects (battery for perspective) we were delayed for more than 6 hours ...

Again, a few important lessons:-

a) thank God for great friends ... everyone stayed with me through thick n thin and even through heavy rain. You guys are the best! Special thanks to CrazyBiker

b) prepare for contingencies

c) avoid tubed tyres

tomorrow's session will take place at The Kopitiam In The Middle of Nowhere from 10pm onwards.

This session will be the first specialised Kopitiam Engineering ™ class and we'll be discussing everything from pillows to cats and dogs. Of course, the topics are trade secrets of the Kopitiam Engineering Guild (KEG) and don't really involve cats and pillows :3

Fantastic riding and discussions from a diverse bunch of Singapore Bikers. Impressive knowledge and riding skills yesterday and today. And also tomorrow :)

Big thanks to guest stars @Shunpo and Mystery CB750 Rider :)

Ride report(s) will be posted as soon as I can process the media.

Any of you guys familiar with ah pek bikes? Might be getting another bike LOL. Most probably a CG125, and see if it's possible to apply kopitiam knowledge to another bike xD since it's also another bullet proof bike.

Hmm.. or maybe a TA150 just for the fun of the speed. Cus gonna cafe mod it anyway.

2 wks before I can enrol for 2a, but think now I'm addicted to playing with small 2b bikes :3

CG is one of my favourite 'learner' bikes and mechanically, would not pose a lot of difficulty. The complexity of the bike will be similar to the Phantom and it will be fun to figure out how to make the little CG go.

Which year is the CG? Is it the former BBDC school bike ("CG Titan") or the 80s/90s/ vintage?

Meantime, in FnB, we just finished our third day of Kopitiam Engineering. AAR is here
