For the past 18 months of ownership.

I never had any fuses or bulbs blown on me before.

Hope that answer your question.

I change both the fork oil, brake and clutch fluid annually. cost only $13 for 1L of the PJ1 10wt fluid - enuf for both fork (473 cc ea) and $7.00 for the brake fluid from Mobil (500cc) enuf for all the hydraulic lines. Workmanship $0 (DIY).

Thanks for the info. I dont think i have the time to DIY but it is a good idea to do change those fluid yearly.

Make it 4. I've been on my VFR since May 03. No such problem.

Regarding to the type of food, it's becoz I'm on a Muslim diet and I do not want my presence to restrict the choice of food for the lunch.

However, as of today, I couldn't go as a client needs to meet me on that day. I'll see if I can change the appointment to some other day. Would love to join fellow viffers on this Mersing ride.

Hi guys, went to change my spark plugs, wonder if anyone uses denso iridium spark plugs before? Jus realised that I've been using it since i bought it 2nd hand Dec 04. So far so gd, anyone has any bad exp with it?

2ndly, was talking to bike mech and he told me if I'm worried abt my thermostat jam then can go thermostat less, as in dsiable the opening and closing of the stat such that coolant flows thru whole system right from start. Is that a sound method?

Pls advice.

See you guys on Sun as well. My first trip on my VFR, looking fwd to it. Hope everytyhing goes on smoothly...

Hi guys, just to let you know that I am riding a S4 and might not be able catch up with your speed. Please let me know if it is okay for me to tag along as I do not wish to be a 'baggage' slowing you guys.

Not advisable, your bike will run very cool and thus very rich as the FI will react accordingly to the temperature.
