Hey Rick,

charges are RM100 for a 3hr session.

May 20 - 1400hrs - 1700hrs

May 21 - 1300hrs - 1600hrs

staying at the KLIA Concord Inn for a night at RM185 per room

expect lots of professional photo shots of you while u are at full lean on the track (turn 2, turn 5 & turn 14). these people will post the pics online for u to order. IMO, they are so professionally taken, tat you'll want to pay them to keep the pics.

estimated cost of entire trip = RM500 or S$220

petrol - RM150

track fees - RM200

hotel - RM92.50

misc - RM50

if u dun wan to ride, there is a FREE shuttle bus from the hotel to KLIA.

from KLIA, there is an express train that takes you to KL Sentral in less than 30mins.

from there, you can go to anywhere in KL to buy vege and make friends.

* for more info, refer to the other 'sbf' for FRs and friends-making oppurtunities.

Yes I called them before to check on the stocks.

But I don't mind paying extra to let familiar faces to work on my bike.

KLIA concord in is only 8km away from SIC and takes u around 5mins.

bike parking is relatively safe as all SG bikers park their bike there.

nevertheless, see u in SIC this weekend!

try to take it moderate on sepang. Due to the low rebound n non adjustable compression, quick switches like turn 1 to turn 3 & turn 9 n 10 would unsettle the stock bike badly with speeds. Try to set the sag N tune up the shocks a little (ohlins :cheer: )

The extra 50kg on the VFR makes some decreasing radius pretty harsh. BT tires does not take heat very well. Try to rest in betweens as me n my frens encounter bad grip on continuous laps.

By the way, try to make urself go. Its really a nice track... my 1st 2 rounds macham touring.. + sightseeing:sweat:

thanks hamz, I will set my ohlins rear to a few clicks from maximum and deflate my tires a bit. Wat kind of tire pressure would you recommend for track?

erm VFR i am not very super good with pressures.. coz when ever i run diff press, bike dunt really get much feedback compared to the sportsbikes. Probably due to the soft suspension and weight. But so far i ran 32fr, 34 rear lowest.

As for the ohlins, with ur daily riding as a gauge. go to the track. Run a few rounds to judge if you should stiffen how much. Coz if you stiffen now, you would not know how it handles compared to the settings that you are riding with now.

For VFR 2002 first owners,

Like to know whether the grab rail PVC cover is an OEM that comes with the bike or optional accessories?

The PVC grip cover is used to cover the empty slot when the grab rail is removed.

Hamsterz,

Delusi0n,

Maybe you want to check out my FR on continental tires as above.
