Enrolment Requirements and Documents (2B)

 

Requirements:

• 18 years old and above (based on date of birth)
  
• Physically and mentally fit
  
• Able to read at a distance of 25 metres & does not suffer from colour blindness (Single and Double Sight)
  
• Must not accumulate more than 12 demerit points under Driver Improvement Points System (DIPs)
  
• Must not have any class(es) of Qualified Driving Licence / Provisional Driving Licence under revocation, disqualification or suspension

 

Documents:

• Identity Card or valid Passport
  
• Glasses/Lenses must be put on for eye-sight examination if needed
  
• 1 recent colour passport size photograph
  
• Additional Documents for Foreigners: valid work-permit, student pass, employment pass, dependant's pass or PR pass

if you don't know where you are weak in, then it's good to go for at least one and get guidance from the instructors. if you know where you are weak in, then SP should be good enough.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

on a side note, I just notice there's a year (2010) in the topic, does this means every year a new thread will be open?

I think this new thread too spread out already...splitting the bike classes.

 

Anyway...just now was damn funny. First time experienced empty petrol while riding.

In the middle lane of AYE suddenly my bike like something stepping on my brake, tried to throttle more. Get short burst of speed but soon the feeling of something stepping and letting go of my brake comes back.

 

Lunar 7th month coming...for a moment I thought it was Ah Piao playing with me.

 

Lucky left lane clear, quickly change lane to road shoulder, reluctantly let my bike slow down to a stop...and when it stopped, the bike dies off. I thought I was going to be stuck on AYE...then I realised I almost 2 weeks never pump petrol. So I try to turn on reserve tank and bike spluttered to life! Quickly rode to petrol station. ~8litre for $12+

 

Last week keep raining, so didn't ride to school a lot. Expected the petrol to dry up and wanted to go pump petrol on the way home...but empty tank gotten to me faster than I can reach the petrol station. I think it dried up 15-20km of petrol as that was the amount before my next petrol refill calculation. Since got time I went to pump air also...realised my front tyre was badly deflated. Supposed to be 200kpa but my front tyre only have 135kpa of air inside. I pumped it to 175kpa only...because I forgot front need how much. Haha.

For phantom it's $10 each side to bleed and change brake fluids. Not sure what it meant by sides. Just a rough gauge for you...different bikes.

Hmm...I don't know much about the technical stuff.

By single disk brake...is it the one disk in front beside the wheel?

Double disk brake is both sides of wheel also have disk?

at the right side of the handle bar, got 1 small container... can see it connected to your brake line. the container got 1 small window that mark min and max level.

 

that is for your front brake. for your rear, gotta look for it yourself.

Hey guys. Just booked tp for 13 Sept.anw, going for 6.01 tmr.any tips on getting thru it on first attempt?

 

in my opinion, everyone has the skills to pass their TP.

 

they need a bit of luck.

 

and most importantly, dun be nervous. nervousness = make a lot of mistakes.

 

if you are calm, i think your tp sure pass.

 

thats my advice and my personal experience
