come on papabread.. don't be so hostile

(altho stommer did ask a silly question)

well i wouldnt mind exchanging with you if you can offer me better rates than the money changers :D

to TS, i suggest u just keep that money till u need it in ur future trip to Laos.

who knows, their currency may appreciate in near future.

i've been keeping "leftover" currencies from my trips (not alot so don't come rob me :D) and recently i'm surprised that i made a small profit from some of it just by keeping it. e.g. RMB, rupiah.

i would have made a lost (due to spread) if i change it back to sgd at money changer

If there is a rate by the $-changer, i would have changed with them, no?

I dont need to know the rates b4 exchanging. Coz the money-changer would have the rates on his/her board right?

but there isnt any money changer here, in singapore, that has kips on their boards. right?

go find out. state ur price. and then u have a deal.

or not.

Oh come on... its simple.

From http://www.XE.com

1.00 SGD = 6,021.70 LAK

1,010,000.00 LAK = 167.7270 SGD

omg. i'll be damned...

anyone who's smart enough to be able to be so interactive in forums such as this, will definitely be internet savvy enough to google for exchange rate. papabread, u could've spared us alllll this ruckus and just state your price on how much you'd like for your million kips!

if i may quote myself "go find out. state ur price. and then u have a deal. or not"

my bad. maybe i wasnt clear enough.

after u know the exact exchange rate, please state ur price of how much SGD$$ you would expect for ur one million kips. unless you can give an attractive enough offer (i'm bargaining here), then we may or may not have a deal.

even in forex u gain/ lose.

i reckon you, state a lower price for your kips. or be stuck with it.

*sigh*

TS. Juz state your price since you already did your research.

FYI. You starting thread lack of some information, that's why ppl are asking here and there. Things like contact method, what you have did b4 posting, etc are missing.

If you dun want ppl to make wrong assumption, just state out clearly.

Yup. Its ard der. Im willing to let go lower than this. If u were to change SGD to KIPS in Laos, be prepared to get much much much lower rate!
