Looi's motor has 1 for sale.

 

blue hornet 250. previous owner was aussie but sold to them as he had to go back.

 

coe left with 1 year, condition is quite good, bits of dings and dust and cobwebs. HEL brake hose for the front. GPR exhaust/ original will be given.

 

and uncle looi's wants 4k for it....which is ridiculous.

 

went down to take a look. was damn happy when i finally found it in the corner. but heartbroken when i heard the price.

That is too ex. i got mine for 3k with 33k+ km and coe till 2020

yeah exactly, it is way too ex even with the GPR pipe. originally registered in 03 yeah. the original owner wanted 2.8k only. i know this because he posted in the bikemart section.

 

i think Uncle Loois doesnt know the value of the bike la. still dare to tell me very fuel efficient and hard to find one. he will buy and keep.

 

i told him to take a hike.

 

oh well, the search continues. seen another 1 as well but what worries me is that the owner mentions the engine just went through top overhaul. don't know how to tell. the other thing is the cdi box showed signs that it leaked before. what fluid i don't know, but bike can be started though.

for sure its hard to find one, how many were seen on the road. So far I saw two sales on this forum on CB250 where condition (*from its look) were terrific. I truly admire this vehicle where its one of the last 250 with 4 cylinder setup, VTR250 looks cool too!

haha its fine. i got my hands on the Impulse already. it was actually my 1st choice but I couldn't find any then so looked for Hornet.

which model year impulse you got? sorry to ask its a 400cc or 600cc?

its a 98 impulse. they are 400cc bikes. same horsepower as super 4 because this was back in the day when japan limited 400cc bikes to 53bhp.

 

but an aftermarket cdi will take care of it.

 

looks wise, very retro la, i like.

 

meet up soon! got no gang to hang out with because can't find other impulse riders.
