Hard to start, but if can start, the engine will die almost immediately or after 5-10 seconds.

Never do all before. According my mech and my experienced friends, don't open the engine unless you really have to. If it still works, don't fix it.

But you think i should do?

I let my RS125 idle until I get three bars on the coolant temperature gauge (which seems to reflect the optimum operating temperature). Takes about 3-5 minutes. I use the time to put on my helmet and gloves slowly, check my lights, brakes, tyre pressure, chain slack, then admire the bike, and check myself out in the bike rearview mirror. ;)

Nyahahah! I do that too! My gf hates me for that. Since i'm also into ATGATT, she says 2~3 bikes have left just waiting for me to gear up and warm up my ride.

I tell her its for the best interest of the engine.

Myself, im riding a GSR, usually will take it about 4 mins after overnight parking and warm her up from cold to 55 degrees Celsius on my temp gauge before i move her off nice and slow.

Lol my entire outing group is anal about proper warm up so moving off fast is a problem LOL

But once on the road, W.O.T. so warm up sequences are pretty much mandatory. These are after all, 2B bikes that need constant whacking to not hold up traffic on the motorways.

My engines last more or less forever despite constant abuse, so that's how important warm up is. I actually cringe when one of my neighbours in the carpark jump on his scooter, jab the starter button and ride off at 5,000rpm immediately.

Then there are those who laugh at me saying my ideas are from another planet altogether and that oil has "additives" to protect against cold starts. Well, yes, and additives are consumables. I don't spend a lot on oil and I sure don't spend a cent on costly overhauls :D

its very simple realli.. juz use ur bare hands to hold on to ur bike's exhaust header.. once u can no longer tahan.. ur bike wil be warmed up nicely

I check out on the article, ponder that these might be a problem?

Float :

The float will fail to float, fuel level will be too high, and the engine will not run unless the float is replaced. The valve itself becomes worn on its sides by its motion in its "seat" and will eventually try to close at an angle, and thus fails to shut off the fuel completely; again, this will cause excessive fuel flow and poor engine operation. Conversely, as the fuel evaporates from the float bowl, it leaves sediment, residue, and varnishes behind, which clog the passages and can interfere with the float operation.

Off-idle circuit :

As the throttle is opened up slightly from the fully-closed position, the throttle plate uncovers additional fuel delivery holes behind the throttle plate where there is a low pressure area created by the throttle plate blocking air flow; these allow more fuel to flow as well as compensating for the reduced vacuum that occurs when the throttle is opened, thus smoothing the transition to metering fuel flow through the regular open throttle circuit.

TS should try to wash your carb..

since it's been a while you've cleaned it..

do you have popping sounds when you down gear?

the jets might be clogged..

this problem should be solved after the carb wash..

do update here if it's solved..

So it can warm up as per normal? No stall?

You mean when you clutch IN, kick down to first gear while clutch IN the engine speed drop?

TS suggest you check your air filter and clean your carburetor first if it still dun solve your problem, adjust your air/fuel mixture richer because from your description your bike seems to be running lean and you will risk burning a hole in your piston. Idling at 2000rpm seems insane to me. I saw you have many issue with your bike from the posting you post here, how long have you not service your bike? do send to a reliable mech to diagnose as the suggestion here is base on your description only.

risk burning a hole in your piston.

Why will running lean burn a hole in the piston?

,how long have you not service your bike

What is bike servicing? Change EO and sparkplug and all the necessary things when the time comes right? My mech, my friends they all say the same thing. Don't need. Its normal here and there spoil. If nothing really wrong, don't need to fix it up. As long, can move, can already.

How to set the carb to make it run richer? I must remove the carb and open it up ah? What are the benefits of running lean and rich? Not much diff right rich? Just burn more fuel only?
